"Yup. Started out making legs, because that's the only thing I need, but I've recently started making arms too"

"Wouldn't arms be significantly harder to make?"
They join the rather short queue to pay for their items.

"I thought the same thing in a less negative sense, like talking to someone to the point of their own introspection. Kinda like being nosy, to be honest."

"Yeah. It takes a lot of practice to get the proportions of the fingers right, and I've finally gotten confident in the craftsmanship of the arms I make"

"Hmmm, that makes sense, in a way."
"Wow. Hang on, do you also make fingers that work really well?"

 "Of course. Having a father who's the CEO of a large prosthetic company allows me to get the highest quality servos"

"It's not going to find its way into common use, though, so it's probably best not to speculate too hard."

Suzu whistles, impressed.

"That's true. Then again, some mental exercise isn't that bad now and then."

Yu lets out a half chuckle, before standing up and extending her hand.

It's almost their turn to pay.

Kei watches wispy clouds scud across the afternoon summer sky.

Kumori takes the proffered hand hand shakes it firmly. "Pleased to meet you, Yu."
Haruka listens. Somewhere nearby, a woman answers her phone. Something about a child. Probably a parent of one of the students.

The customer before them leaves, and Suzu steps up to pay for her magazines.
