Akemi and Tatsuya make it to the 'Lower' class, while Rin and Madoka head off to the 'Higher' class.

The class is taken by the man most of the boys who were in before the weekend as Mr. Okumura, the boys' dorm monitor. To everyone else, he's just a stern-looking guy in glasses, with short black hair and a long grey coat.
His name's on the whiteboard behind him, along with a fairly complicated problem involving binomial expansion.
"Good morning. I am Mr. Okumura, your Maths teacher. I am also the boys' dorm monitor, and anyone taking a Chemistry class later this afternoon will have me.
As a starter, I would like you all to provide a satisfactory answer to that question. You have three minutes. Visually-impaired students, your tablets should dictate to you what the problem is on demand. Go."
Rin and Madoka sink into it right away.

Meanwhile, the lower maths class is taken by a fairly petite woman, with teal hair in a ponytail behind her head, a small laptop bag on her side and a cream sweater. To most of the girls who were in before this weekend, she's Ms. Kikuchi, the girls' dorm monitor.
Her name is also on the board behind her. There are three questions, all around the algebraic expanding and solving of equations.
"Good morning, everyone. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Ms. Kikuchi. I'm also the dorm monitor for the girls, and most of you who have taken Physics will see me later this afternoon.
Now, you have five minutes to solve the questions on the board- anyone who cannot see them, your tablet will dictate them to you. Good luck!"
Tatsuya works on it, while Akemi stares at the board in horror.
