Haruka's mind is bubbling over at the mention of 'a certain someone' but she decides not to mention it. Yet.


Maria was awoken by a buzzing coming from her shirt pocket. Reaching into the pocket and withdrawing her phone she flicks through to her messages:
Hope you're doing OK, sweetie
We'll visit you sometime soon
Love Mum
PS remember your medicine!!
Maria sighs through her teeth. She knows she should be grateful but the constant attention is a little... irritating. She types a quick reply into her phone and turns it off.
Finding she can't get back to sleep she decides to take a walk.

"Mm. Makes sense."
She sat up, looking for whoever was talking to her.
"I dunno... I've never really been to the center of the town, I guess."

There's a small man laying on the dog. He waves lazily.

She spots the boy on the dog, and her eyebrows shoot upwards. "Well."

"Most people start with 'hello'."

I should go and put these groceries in my room. You gonna get yours while I do that?

Yu shrugs. "Whatever. ...can't see I've ever seen someone riding a dog."

The person shrugs.
"Not many people are small enough to ride them."

He nods.

"Nice to meetcha, I suppose."

"I've got mine already, maybe we could head back to school first while Akemi-chan gets burger ingredients? Then we can all meet up for dinner later…"
