Tod follows her and gets ready. "I did, but you have to remember, I did just get my cast off the day before that tryout, so I had to go slower then normal."

She tosses her notepad into the grass, and puts her hair in a ponytail.

Tod smirks and gets ready to run. "Count from 3-0 sound good to you?"

Yui fingers out "3-2-1" then a point forward. So, 3-2-1-Go.

Kei is still napping. He'll do so until class resumes, unless someone were to wake him...

((Looks like I underestimated how fast this moves when I go to bed..))

The second it hits go tod is going at his fastest, trying his best to go faster.

Tod loses. Yui makes it there a long time before he does, surprisingly.

"True..."
Rin hastily changes the subject.
"So. Is that bird of your making?"
"H-Hmph."

"Yes. I have a knife meant only for carving hidden in my room. They have tried finding it six times, but I'm not going to hurt myself with it. The blade is small, and used only for this." She holds the bird up, the carving quite well made if needing a tiny bit more sanding before painting.

Yui grins as she watches Tod running way behind her.

"Incomplete it will remain however, as many of my carvings are. They took my sandpaper the last time they searched for the knife, a sorry punishment indeed; Though you cannot fault someone for doing their job if it must be security."
