Tod gets up from the table and heads to the library. He scans the shelves for some good fighting novels.

"What? A life like mine were a death could be your only companion and your family seeing you as a dissapointment to society?" Irritation seeps slightly into her voice, though she doesn't raise it. The knife is back and pressed against her palm.

"Let us not jump to conclusions. I never said nor implied that."

Rin glances briefly over to Mr. Okumura, who's by this time quite close to the table. This entire time, he doesn't raise his voice or imply that he's irritated at being falsely accused, or terrified by the situation.

"I meant the alternative would be to simply give up because life decided, as you stated, to drown me before I had a chance.

You know, I wasn't always paralyzed. Quite the opposite, in fact."

"...Mobility was taken and not bestowed as such... They will meet an untimely end." She drops the knife and walks out of the cafeteria as it clattered on the table, half her dinner still on the plate.

Yui waits around, away from the table.

Rin sighs as she leaves and eats the rest of his meal in silence.

Yui taps her foot idly.

"Nah, it's my first time with this sorta thing. Only a couple paragraphs. Heading to dinner." She abruptly leaves, apparently deciding she's hungry.
Kyo would be at dinner... But he's fallen asleep outside the Light Music room, snoozing quietly against the wall with his hands in his pockets and his hood up.

Rin slowly looks over at Yui.
Madoka happens to sit next to Kyo.
oh look tatsuya happens to be at dinner again

David is still playing music inside of the Light Music room.
Yui looks at Rin.

Madoka shakes him gently.
