Though Tomomi's gaze was in fact an unsettling one, Yu didn't particularly feel the need to comment; the girl was obviously blind. Plus, if Yu had a dollar for the number of people she'd freaked out by practically coughing her lung out and going on like it was nothing... well, she'd be a little richer...

And on the topic of her lungs, Yu put her hand ti her throat briefly and made a strange and quiet little noise with it; she didn't think she was quite about to start coughing everywhere, what with the clearness of the air, but it did feel a little weird.

"Hmm, I've got absolutely no idea where I'm going to be. I'm guessing I'm going to get to know during the orientation? ...hmm, when is that, anyway? Soonish?"

Tomomi looks on concerned as Yu touches her throat and makes strange, worrying, noises. She tries her best not to look too alarmed as she asks, "Hey, are you okay? Uh..." Once it's clear that Yu isn't about to launch into a coughing fit or something equally alarming, Tomomi continues their conversation. "Uh... Yeah. I think that they tell you during the orientation. It should be pretty soon, actually. I think I've heard them say that it's about to start around now. Definitely in the next couple of minutes. Maybe we should go and check on that before you end up without a room." Tomomi grins, "And I'm pretty sure that you don't want to be bunking with me until you do. I snore pretty loudly."

The boy Yu was looking at earlier walks up to Her and Tomomi.

And Tomomi looks at him with a questioning expression on her face, her eyebrows raised as she waits for him to say something.

Yu waves Tomomi's concern off. "I'll live. And if the orientation is about to start, yeah, I'm off! Don't want to be late, you're definitely right about that."
Shrugging apologetically at the new arrival to the conversation (the American), she turns around and begins to jog off to the orientation room, rushing into a seat.

"Uh... Okay then. I'm Kyle."
Kyle says turning to Tomomi and extending his hand.

"Alright, see you later then!" Tomomi says before Yu leaves. She shrugs apologetically to Kyle and shakes his offered hand. "Hey, Kyle. I'm Tomomi. You better get going as well before orientation starts. They'll definitely raise a ruckus if you spend the night in my room. Better go so you can get a place to sleep tonight, they're handing them out afterwards."

Kyle looks around in confusion.
"This isn't the orientation room? They said this was it..."

Anita sits there calmly with her sister, waiting for the orientation and listening to everyone around her walking and talking.

"Hey Anita, nice to see you again."
She'd recognize the voice as David, Akemi's twin.

Anita smiles and turns her head, looking at David's leg it would seem.

"Nice to hear you David. How are you and Akemi doing these days?" She asks with a soft smile.

"We're doing fine. And yourself?"
David smiles, then spaces out, staring at the wall. Dammit David, you're talking to someone.

"Fairly well, though It will be several weeks atleast before I am used to the new environment."

David stares silently off into the distance. David stop.

Anita nods to herself after David does not respond for a minute or so, understanding the things David did and just turns back to staring blankly in front of herself.

Well, in that case, David doesn't say that. And just stares at the same girl for a moment, before turning to Madoka.
"How are you, Madoka-chan?"

"I'm fine, you?"
Madoka sighs and turns around, as Akemi facepalms at the inconvenience of David's sudden spacing out.

"I'm uh... I'm good."
David smiles, having come back into focus.

Akemi wonders where David is and why Dad is there.
"Oh, good to hear!"
