Kumori does indeed have difficulty defending. A well-placed knee hits her in the stomach only to be followed up with a hit from the shoulder. However, this doesn't stop her from lifting her right leg to check a second blow from a knee, then lashing out whilst rotating her hips and torso, delivering a powerful kick aimed directly underneath Yu's ribcage, driving upwards.

Madoka sighs in relief.
Meanwhile, in the background, Tatsuya manages to somehow throw Yuri to the ground.

"Guess we should get back to practice, huh?"

"The nurse DID say I can't do club activities until tomorrow, though, just in case my fever comes back..."

[Projeck37]

"You come hear others do club activities. Especially a certain music club."

[Powder Miner]

The kick manages to connect directly with Yu... and appears to be rather effective, considering Yu has the wind driven out of her and coughs for a little bit (albeit less violently than her bronchiectasis coughing fits) and catches her breath, raising her hand to indicate an admission of defeat.
"_Oooof, you win, you win..."

After a brief moment of confusion,  Kumori hops on one foot, half a grin illuminating her face. She stops jumping fairly quickly, though, and the coughing worries her a little. "Hey, are you OK?"

He looks over the menu "See anything you like?"

"Everything sounds good, really. Although I quite like the sound of the chashu ramen."

Kei goes to the library to get some study done before dinner time.

Haruka just smiles. Internally, sbe flounders desperately to work out everything that's happening.

Sakura glances at Maria. "I want to talk b-but I can't think of anything to talk a-about. Any ideas?"

"Hoooh, yeah, I'll be fine, that was just a very well placed kick..."

"Aoki-san, is everything alright?"

Maria smiles. "Same here. Uuuuhhn... what do you think about the school so far?"
Kumori looks mildly relieved, hopping from foot to foot. "Think you can handle another round?"
Haruka nods. "Yes, everything's OK." Damn preexisting relationships!
