The waitress hurries off, and soon returns with their orders. Suzu pours two sugar sticks into her coffee and stirs slowly.

Haruka shrugs. "I suppose it's a matter of walking around until you see something you like."

"Funny, that's what I do when I get my groceries."

He picks up his coffee and takes a drink

"I don't actually know how I'd manage that. I suppose someone would have to be with me. Still, there's a cafeteria here." Haruka coughs. "Do you use the cafeteria or do you make your own food?"

"I'm not that good with fancy meals, but I can do some simple things to feed myself. So for me, it's 50/50 mix of both."

"All I ever cooked was ravioli from a tin. I can eat, but definitely can't cook, even if I could see."

"Depends on what you mean by 'a lot', of course. Some people reckon 5 shots a day is too much; I think it's just right."

Suzu shakes her head to emphasise her dislike of soda.

He shrugs "I hear a lot of people say that, but that's why I like it"

"Heh, it all depends if they've got what I like in stock. If not I'll generally just make a round of the vending machines. I memorised the good numbers for most of them."
