"I've got some stuff on the veracity of contemporary accounts of the battle, as well as some tangentially related points on the discovery of what is thought to be the ruins of Troy."

"Besides the Illiad and a couple small excerpts from the Odyssey?"

"Yes."
Jirou should be directed to the boys' dorm to get his stuff.

Kumori closes her eyes and takes a few deep breaths. When she opens her eyes again she seems a lot more controlled. "Ack, my hair." She stands up and immediately sits down again on the bench. She tightens her scarf, which had been coming unraveled up until this point.
"Tangentially? Come again?"
Maria finishes her tree-self and makes a start on some background details.

Suzu picks out some stray leaves tangled in Kumori's hair.
"As in, some news on the people who thought they'd discovered the ruins. They may have found the ruins of a younger city instead."

The classes are nearly done, with fifteen minutes to go.

Kumori brings up a hand and interrupts Suzu's leaf-picking efforts. "I can do it myself." Kumori begins picking the leaves out of her hair.
Haruka shakes her head. "No, I mean, 'tangentially'? What do you mean by that?"

"O-okay then..."
"As in, it's indirectly related to the topic at hand."

[Adragis]

Kumori reaches up and uses a finger to loosen her scarf a little. "Sorry to be so forceful." Without looking up she continues picking the leaves from her hair.
"Ah, I see. So if we proved that it was another city, we indirectly prove that it isn't Troy and thus disprove a lot of other things."

"It's fine~"
"Well, that's the harder bit - the sources pertaining to the discovery of ruins aren't particularly clear on whether it could have been the ruins of a younger city, and there's not much else to work off either. Hence it's a tangent, an interesting footnote at best."

[Adragis]

Kumori finishes picking leaves from her hair.
Haruka nods. "Mind you, this isn't meant to be solid proof. If it's backed up with enough evidence any opinion will do."

Suzu yawns.
"There's not much evidence besides a note or two about some coins and some pottery techniques."

[Adragis]

"Tired still?"
"I see. Still, that applies to all of this. We just need to either prove an opinion with evidence or formulate an opinion based on the evidence."

"Well, we should add these in as evidence then."

"Personally I go to bed early and wake up early. Helps with concentration."
"Righty-ho. Care to outline yours? Mine should be on the screen here." Haruka readies her hands at the keyboard.
