Kei goes towards the kitchen to see if Akemi needs any help.

[Adragis]

"Still, life goes on. We have to learn. Anyway, speaking of things that are depressing, the vending machine over... Uh... There-" she gestures in the direction of the annoying vending machine "-doesn't work and I can't tell what's wrong. Would you be a dear and help me get my money's worth out of it?"
'Be a dear'? Goodness, I'm turning into an old woman.

[crazysheep]

"Sure, I'll go see find out what the problem is."
Suzu gets up and goes off to check out the vending machine in question.

[Adragis]

Haruka follows. "It better not suddenly be working..."

[crazysheep]

"Well, it's all lit up like Christmas, I think it should be working."
Suzu fishes out some spare change.
"What did you want?"

[Adragis]

Haruka hears the coins jingle. "The lemonade. It's number 193. Are you getting something too?" She begins feeling around in her pocket for her own coins.

[crazysheep]

"No, I'm just testing the machine."
She puts in her change, and keys in 193 for lemonade, and… nothing happens.
"Huh, weird."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

A boy who's sitting next to it speaks up.
"The lemonade screw's broken. Won't be any bottles that come out until that's fixed."

[Adragis]

Haruka turns towards the voice.
"Oh! Thanks very much. Wish I'd known that sooner."
She turns back to Suzu.
"Well, that's that. What's number 194?"

[crazysheep]

Suzu glances curiously at the boy, before checking out the label for 194.
"Strawberry soda, apparently. Well, no harm trying that, I reckon. You want that too?"

[Adragis]

"Seems nice. I take it strawberry soda costs the same as lemonade?"

[crazysheep]

A quick glance confirms Haruka's assumption.
"Yes, it does."
