David's obviously joking, as he laughs, then shrugs.
"I dunno... If anything, it makes me feel useless or like I don't matter."

"Well, when I think about it, it makes me feel happy, no matter how lonely I feel, because somewhere out there there's an incredibly high chance someone feels exactly the same. I think. Unless I got the figures wrong.

Kyo's expression became slightly bewildered as he began to realize exactly what situation he'd entered.
"W-well, uh, obviously we'd only be in a relationship if we said we were, right? So, uh, if you say we're friends, we're just friends."

Kyo had no idea what he was doing.

David shrugs.
"Everyone has unique genes... I don't know if that necessarily means there's not someone just like me... But I don't feel like thinking about that."
Yui smiles, then backs off.
No reason~
Well, suppose it's time to eat.

[crazysheep]

"Ooooh, what's for dinner?"
"American burgers, Akemi's cooking. You want some of that?"
Suzu shrugs. "Probably not tonight, I feel like something light."
"Awww, you'll be missing out, but suit yourself, I guess."
"Have fun then Kei-chan~"
"I'll try~"
Suzu winks at Kei, before wandering off to sit with Haruka.
Kei turns back to Yui and Akemi. "Whenever you're ready to eat then, I suppose…"

[Adragis]

Haruka waits for the footsteps of the others to fade off. "You and your lady friends are quite the teasers. I'm glad I came back down."


"Suppose so. Hope I didn't, y'know, touch on a subject related to your dark troubled past."
An awkward pause follows.
"...if you actually have a dark troubled past, sorry, OK?"

Suzu chuckles. "I think Kei-chan's quite used to being teased, seeing that he does hang out with me a lot. I'm not quite sure how he's handling other girls teasing him, though~"

[Adragis]

"From the sound of it, quite badly. I'm sure he was blushing profusely."
Haruka folded a corner of the page over and shut the book.
"So, is Kei your only family within the school? Or do you have a stash of relatives kept somewhere?
...Wow, that came out badly."

[crazysheep]

"Oh yes, face redder than a ripe tomato. He doesn't do that when I'm doing the teasing though, hmmm."
Suzu bats Haruka playfully. "I don't keep relatives around in stashes~! But yeah, he's my only relative here, and so far, nobody else I know is here. Kinda why I was hoping he was around earlier to help me with stuff."

[Adragis]

"I'm certainly glad he wasn't: I'd never have found the elevator otherwise."
Haruka rubs her arm where Suzu hit her. It's hurting a lot more than it was probably meant to.
"I'm surprised Kei still has any remaining limbs if you punch him this much. You've got a wicked swing on you, that's for sure." She smiles to indicate it was nothing.

[crazysheep]

"That's true, and I wouldn't have met you either."
Suzu takes a look at Haruka's arm.
"I like to think all my punching made him tougher, but that's probably me taking credit for his hard work on the soccer pitch. Can't do fancy tricks if you keep getting barged over by big opponents who've had enough of your trickery. I hope I haven't hurt you though, I tend to underestimate my strength, and I think that might be a little problematic around here…"

"Nah... Just have had problems with depression occasionally."
Yui twirls her hair.

Kei grins shyly.

[Adragis]

"Know the feeling."
Maria just sits awkwardly.


Haruka shakes her head. "Nothing serious. If it was you'd certainly know about it."
She thinks a little.
"Hey, what classes are you taking?"

Suzu backs off, but keeps an eye on Haruka's arm anyway.
"Sure thing, although I should be more careful around here. I'm not too sure about classes yet, probably need to sort that out first thing Monday morning."
