Maria blushes.
"Ach, that was a terrible start to a conversation. Hope I'm not coming off as, ah, too abrasive. Steering the topic away from this kinda thing, where'd you learn to play said guitar?"

He goes in, Madoka in tow, to the little cafe.

Madoka peers around.
"Huh? Which one's your mom?"

Kyo peers around. "Look for the bright red hair, it's a pretty big tip."

Madoka points at a red-haired woman who resembles Kyo. "Is that her?"

David chuckles awkwardly.
"I'm self taught."

Kyo smiles brightly.
