Madoka, Akemi and Tatsuya make it in last just as the last bell goes.

Their teacher is Ms. Fushimi, who simply informs them that this is the last lesson the majority of the class will be taking together. Next week, option subjects begin- the only classes in here will be English with her, Science with Mr. Okumura and Maths with Ms. Kikuchi, as well as Japanese with Mr. Oda.

Ms. Izumi, the old Science teacher, had to take a leave of absence, forcing the other two to take the subjects quickly.

She then allows Ms. Kikuchi to take over the class.
"A-all right....today we will be beginning on geometry...."

The last class bell has rung. It is now early afternoon, just after school. Students are piling in the corridors to go enjoy the nightlife and things like that.
