She seems to consider this, eyes rolling over the carving slowly.

"For the carving itself, the sanding alone, you may have whatever honour you see from the task that I may be forgiven of my folly of cursing death to the one who damaged you, as it was yourself that did so." Almost reverently, she carefully hands off the bird to him.
