Er, is that the wrong file? It looks like than402's elven village (not retired).

Also HOLY COW! goblins have been colonizing like crazy mofos. If those numbers stack up then Timeless Bob's turn won't be until turn 8 and the next turn will be mine.

Maybe your village had a visit from a human 'hero'. I think the secret is out, though, after he uploaded the wrong file.

Anyway the SECOND file he uploaded confirms the surprise goblin colonization spree. Timeless Bob is _not_ the next to have a turn. I am.

Time for me to sleep now, though.

I sacked and claimed three sites. One was your capital and another was your village. I was hoping for a loyalty cascade because one of the elves was the lord of the group that was killing them but I don't think it panned out.

If the elves expand east to the brilliant beak it will make it impossible to stop them from flanking us. I have been tasked to attack them at Coastalshins to discourage further expansion.

 I came across a woodcrafter first and dealt with the problem silently.



I found the Record Maker of the site. I don't know anything about elves or the way they do business but I decided to talk to him.



He didn't seem willing to step down so I made every effort to persuade him.



The broker responded negatively as well. He was corrected.



When I found the manager she wasn't prepared to defend herself.




Without her hands the rest was fairly simple.


My work done I took a hand from the record keeper and told him his life would be spared if he ruled the site as a lord of our glorious civilization. He accepted.

I moved on to Leagueshin to continue the good work. I explained the situation to the retreat leader by throwing her out of the home tree and stepping on her neck.



As a show of good faith to our dwarven brethren I granted a nearby cheesemaker lordship over the site.

An assassination and a raid seemed nearly sufficient to make my point. I went off to Voicedveils to speak with the queen about her expansionist aggression.

She and the retreat leader were both thrown from the Home Tree and executed where they fell. Perhaps this will teach the elves their rightful place in the world.

I think subjugating a kingdom and executing its nobility in an afternoon is still pretty rad tho.

Elves truly are lame. The only way I can begin with a metal weapon is by not putting any ranks in weapon using (and even then it's just a copper spear, which still is a vast improvement to wood), I only have to choose between three weapons and no armor whatsoever. I feel like I am walking into a firefight with a spoon.

They arent so bad, just put your points into agility and perhaps focus.  Make yourself a ninja.


Given the half-broken nature of a few of the civs, I would suggest some modding.  That players would choose or at least see beforehand.  this is a great idea, ptb, and I think Im going to run with it at some point down the road.
