Separatists: Preparation
The agent at the black market makes a deal for 50 rifles. A while later, a small truck with crate full of rifles pulls up in Poppydown, and the guards hand your men the guns. They take the cash, and drive off without a single word.
Your lieutenant continues training, and 30 more of the raw recruits begin to learn how to use the rifle. Meanwhile, 20 of the lightly trained fighters get a little better at fighter.
You then send some of your men to the villages and towns. You send out 60 men, 5 for every small village and 20 for every town, and finally send an agent to the Brigade HQ. However, at your lieutenants suggestion, you decide to send one of your fighters, dressed in a uniform, instead of the agent. Male soldiers are a lot more common than female soldiers, after all.
The fighter barely talks his way past the MPs at the front gate, and quickly maps out the buildings inside. There's a checkpoint at the gate, manned by two MPs, and a machine-gun nest set up a bit behind the gate. The entire compound is surrounded by a security fence, and inside there's the two barracks, the armory, and the command building. The fighter just barely manages to make it out of the compound without the MPs getting suspicious, and reports back. He theorizes that you might be able to carry a bomb onto the base, and plant it in the barracks. Then, when most of the base has retired for the night, you could detonate it and attack.
Target A: 3rd Brigade HQ
A forward HQ for the 3rd Brigade of the 20th Division. Guarded by Military Police and Soldiers. Hard target to hit, but if you can hit it, you'll throw an entire Brigade into disarray. This will still be here later, if you leave it alone.

There's a Forward Operating Base a day or so from your main base. It'll be EXTREMELY well defended, full of soldiers, but if you can clear out this base, people around the world will begin to realize you're serious, and you'll gain a valuable cache of equipment.
