Name: Korinzu Tomomi (Born Minami Tomomi, but after she was adopted Runa and Yuuka changed her last name.)
Gender: Female
Description: Tomomi is slightly taller than average, with shoulder-length black hair with some red highlights that she had dyed in because she thought they'd look cool. Sometimes she puts her hair in a ponytail, but generally she just wears it loose. She has an oval face, and unusually dull, light green, eyes that have trouble focusing on things. To help her see she has glasses with a thick, black frame and shaded lens. She has tanned skin, a curvy build, and a noticeable bust to go with it which makes her overall pretty attractive, even with the off-putting and slightly creepy eyes. Of course this makes her look older than she actually is, especially when she's wearing her glasses, and she could probably pass as 18 if she wanted to.
Disability: Legal Blindness. While not completely blind, an infection that she suffered from while on the streets has greatly reduced her vision. As such she has great trouble seeing anything more than a couple of meters in front of her. Thankfully it's the future, and as such she has received a chip implanted into her brain, which wirelessly communicates with electronics and cameras in her glasses to enable her to see. Without them she'd have great difficulties functioning and be almost helpless. She also has a pair of goggles with the same electronics in a waterproof case to allow her to swim.
Clubs: Swimming and Anime/Manga
Other: Rarely wears her school uniform, and as such is usually seen wandering around in a slightly too-small t-shirt and jeans/shorts as appropriate. In class and similar events she wears her school jacket, to keep teachers off of her back and make it less obvious that she isn't following the dress code. Her t-shirts are usually covered with the name of this company or that convention in stylized words and characters. If you didn't know their names you'd probably assume that her t-shirts related to anime somehow. And they are. In a way.
Tomoni was abandoned by her biological parents when she was young, and while she can't remember the reason why, she can remember the lonely and terrible nights on the streets that she suffered because of them. Her life devolved to trying to collect enough money each day to feed herself, and finding a place to sleep each night. Luckily the city that she was abandoned in had several charitable organizations to provide shelter, food and clothes, but not consistently enough for such a young girl. When she was 12 Tomomi 'bumped' into Yuuko and Runa who were out for a night on the town. The pair didn't mind too much when they caught her, mostly because they were roaring drunk, and even gave her food and a place to stay for a day or two. After those days stretched out into weeks, months and years, Yuuko and Runa formally adopted Tomomi. Not because they felt the need to say to everyone that they loved and cared for her very much, but for tax reasons. Obviously Tomomi didn't mind that it took so long to finalize things since she loves her adoptive parents just as much as they love her, and the four years of relative stability have turned her into a well-adjusted teenager. Kinda.
Name: Wakahisa Yamato
Gender: Male
Description: Wakahisa Yamato is a short man, with pale skin and very short black hair. His eyes are brown, and his square face generally has an expression of boredom on it. Like most 16 year old boys he's suffering through puberty and thus his face is covered in a few pimples here and there. His build borders on unhealthily skinny, though it's hard to tell this for his limbs are artificial. All of Yamato's arms and legs are obviously robotic, covered in a layer of pink, artifical skin. Whenever he walks a faint whirring sound can be heard, as the servos in his limbs labour to move him about. Since it is the future his limbs are quite dexterous. While they lack the full range of motion as the human equivalent they come very close, and are more than capable of letting Yamato live his daily life.
Disability: Tetra-Amelia Syndrome. Yamato was born without arms or legs, which was very inconvenient for the first several years of his life. Once he was old enough he was fitted for robolimbs, and hasn't looked back since. While his prosthetics are very well made and have great dexterity, they are uncomfortable to wear, have a short battery life and are very water resistant. As such Yamato also has a wheelchair tucked away in his room, just in case that he needs it. Obviously Yamato has a chip in his brain to wirelessly control his robolimbs, instead of undergoing much more complicated surgery to splice nerves with circuitry for his limbs to interface with.
Clubs: Anime/Manga and Literature
Other: Usually wears his school uniform all the time, even on weekdays and holidays.
Name: Tsukino Yuuka
Gender: Female
Description: Yuuka is around 159 centimetres in height, with shoulder-length, straight black hair usually worn in a loose ponytail. She has a medical eye patch over her left eye, and the right one is light blue in colour. Underneath her eye patch is an angry red hole filled with scar tissue where her eye used to be. She has a slim build with a touch of muscle due to her time on the track team. The front of her body is pockmarked with small scars, with a few larger ones scattered around her stomach, thighs and chest. She has a few similar scars on her face and cheeks, but she usually covers these up with a bit of makeup so as not to scare anyone else.
Disability: Brain damage. Loss of left eye. About a year ago a car crash occurred right outside of Yuuka's old school, and since she was standing near the scene of the crash her body was pelted with shrapnel. A large chunk of metal flew into her left eye and bounced against the back of her skull before coming to a rest, causing terrible damage to her brain. Yuuka survived the ordeal thanks to being rushed to the hospital, but unsurprisingly having a piece of shrapnel fly through her brain affected her mind. The most obvious change is that Yuuka has trouble stringing coherent sentences together, but it has caused deeper mental problems as well. These issues are being treated with various medications, but obviously it's difficult to say how effective it is. At the very least Yuuka has stopped complaining that the nurses are out to kill her after she has started taking them.
Given her difficulties with communication and fragile sanity, it's no surprise that she has been transferred to Yamaku High to resume her education under the watchful eyes of the teachers and medical staff.
Clubs: Track Team and Anime/Manga
Other: Notice me Senpai.
