You open up the cabinet.
You... Aren't entirely sure what this stuff is.
There are two unlabled canisters, and some beakers and other chemical apparatus, along with a large box of what appear to be matches.
The cabinet reeks of the chemical smell.
You go ahead and close it for now and head to the other door.
It opens into another large room, but slightly smaller than the first.
It's too dark to make out much more than the window at the other end, which is keeping the light out by the sign pastered on it on the outside.
It's pretty dark in here.

You pull out your flashlight and turn it on.
The room has a couple filing cabinets in the right hand corner, and some boxes over to the left of varying sizes.

You shine the light around to make sure nobody's going to jump you.
You don't see anyone.
You start opening up the drawers on the filing cabinets.
They're all empty.
You notice the filing cabinet making a rattling noise as you look through it.
Hmm.

Check the boxes, then remove the cabinet's drawers.

Maybe the cabinet is a secret door. Better check it out.

You look over the boxes, but they're all empty.
You inspect the cabinets more thoroughly.
You start removing the drawers, and you notice the cabinet sliding slightly as the weight is removed.
You push the cabinet to the side, and you notice it rolling along a track.
There's a small handle attached to the floor.

Pull it. Nothing can go wrong, or shoot us in the face.

Open it, but keep our face out of any lines of fire, if at all possible.

You duck your head down, grab the handle, and pull the trap door while cowering out of the way.
Nothing happens.
You look down into it.
There's a staircase chiseled out of the rock, and there are candles mounted on the walls leading down.
This is not what you were expecting.

Enter, and turn off the flashlight for now if there's enough light to see.

You switch off your flashlight and start heading down.
You pass by about three candles before the stairs end and a door is in front of you.
