Well, this dorf in legend mode
« on: November 29, 2014, 03:24:05 am »

This dorf, this Nil Lockhall, was the only survivor of my previous fort(Bannerringed). He went insane so I locked him up(yeah but I didn't lock him in a hall 8)), before the demons killed other members.

Then he appeared in my current fort(Rackhail) as a "guest" dorf, or according to the picture, a ringleader of a local gang(?). I found him on embark, leading a group of animals, still in "Stark Raving Mad" status. Unfortunately he died from thirsty later. I killed all his animals because I could't pasture them anyway(they were members of this Deified Sacks). I checked some named animals and found they actually lived a long life until finally died of old age in my current fort.

I check some animal gang members' final fate.

The turkey gobbler Rīsen Oiledtails, died of old age in 557.
The guineacock Thikut Whippedgift, died of old age in 565(this year).
The doe rabbit Sibrek Fortresssafe, died of old age in 561(had lots of offsprings, all slaughted).
The male cat Moldath Tombswealth, died in 562, decapitated by a goblin spearman, this cat had a lot of offsprings, a Kol Matchtrumpets is still alive, all other kittens were slaughtered.
The female cat Fikod Sealfingers, died in 563, struck down by an elf.
The female cat Mafol Earthsavior, died in 563, struck down by an elf.
A 20 years old unnamed goose is still alive and has always been sleeping.

Y'know what? I have had something WACKY like this.

I embarked on the square next to a fort that had fallen within about 10 minutes to zombie camels. To my SHOCK, the only survivor of the camel fort was there, by himself, in a tent. Yeah. A TENT. It had walls and a ceiling made of cloth.

Yeah. A TENT. It had walls and a ceiling made of cloth.
Units in army mode make tents when they stop, byt due to a bug they don't travel and just keep there, until being killed. In adventure mode you may find entire armies in this state.

Makes sense.

I didn't recall I recruit him. So no idea why he became a militia captain and hammerer.

Sorry, reserved.
I've always wondered, why people do that silly "reserving" thing?

So they can edit updates in at the top so people don't have to scroll through infinity+ pages of replies to find them, I assume.

I had something to sort out before I finished the topic yesterday but soon I realized I could always edit the first post so it was not necessary LOL

I was sitting there wondering why on earth you didn't just edit the top post, so yeah. I see. I'm told that in some forums (not this one) you can't edit the first post, so people who do that must be in the habit from that.

Animals can also worship/have beliefs?
For example, the turkey gobbler Oiledtails worshiped someone called Tobul the Iron of Gravel.
