Do you get seeds back when milling a plant?

For example, if I have some farms growing cave wheat and I make sure my mill can only use cave wheat, will I ever run out if seeds?

Note that I wan to mill the plant, not the seeds themselves.

The only processing of a plant that doesn't return seeds is cooking.

Brewing, extracting, processing to a bag, processing to a barrel, eating raw and milling all return seeds.

Grinding seeds into paste also doesn't return a seed, of course.
