I'm going to go with disabling shot because I know how useful that will be when we start dealing with more tougher enemies that we can't eliminate in one turn. Also, I'll keep the nickname "Ice" because I think it's cool.[/bad pun]

I vote going for Improved Body Armor, then Advanced Body Armor, with a possible stop in Fighter Analysis.

Improved Body Armor gets my vote. Also...
Greene does his work well
Hell yes, I do. Booom!

Greene decides that this situation calls for more...extensive measures
Hehehehehee!

And Green knows just what to do with a cluster of enemies

I'm thinking Improved Body Armour, then Xenogenetics.

We probably don't need to start Gauss wep research yet.

I think we should Analyse THW UFOs first, we need that edge in the sky and it is only a few days.

Some soldier updates:

After some discussion, Dr. Vahlen and I decide to do some quick research into the alien Fighter class UFOs before moving on to Improved Body Armor

A quick overview of the base:

Foundry will be up and running soon, which will be quite helpful. We're also on track to get satellites up over the rest of Europe before the end of the month.

Mexico is asking for Weapons fragments to aid them in their defense research. It's a bit expensive for a single engineer, but Mexico needs all the help it can get so we agree.

Our research into Fighters is complete, so we move on to Improved Body Armor

Not long after the Foundry is completed

We can't afford anything quite yet, but soon we'll be able to start on quite a few necessary projects.

After days of inactivity, the aliens finally strike again. This time sending a medium UFO against our European satellites!

Our fighter manages to get in quite a few good hits, but can't quite bring it down

With nothing but a single Avalanche equipped fighter left operational in Europe, we're forced to leave it. Fortunately, it has sustained too much damage to continue its mission.

Things quiet down a bit. A new solider arrives in the barracks. We'll have to get her some combat experience soon.

Amusingly, this now brings us up to exactly 28 Women and 14 Men. X-COM has a very female dominated combat group!

With no intel on Exalts actions for a bit, we decide to spend some resources on a scan.

All is quiet out there. At least for now.

Brazil requests some Sectoid corpses for Study. We can always use additional scientists on staff, so we agree.

Another UFO contact, this one a Raider coming in over Africa. We scramble the fighters

The first inerceptor lands a few hits but sustains too much damage to continue

The second brings it down!

Alien activity is detected at the crash site, so we assemble a team

(Not pictured is an NPC medic coming along to patch you guys up if you get shot)

Next up: Operation Bloody Justice

The team airdrops down to the ravaged harbor town.
If you can construct an entire update from rhymes than you will win far more than the usual allotment of internets...

Also, it is pretty lucky that amidst near to a score of zombies, that village only lost 8 civilians. I suspect that Xcom's clerical staff are the real heroes of that mission...
