The alien activity seems to be restricted to this single street. No sign of the aliens yet, but we do spot an alien canister just ahead.
The aliens aren't too far away, however, with a pack of those robot squids spotted by Bruciare as she sets up for a rocket
With no time to steady her aim, she does her best. Which is pretty damn good, as she wrecks all but one of them.
Villiams picks off the lone survivor, and the squad pushes on.
The canister is recovered without further sign of the aliens. They must be further down the street.
Albtraum spots them through the rain! Two groups, one of Thin Men and another of Floaters!
Raven tags one but isn't quite able to kill it as they move in
Maelle has a bit better luck
And Haul sets up some holotargeting on another, which lets Raven take it out
But Haul gets hit by return fire from the Thin Men
Bruciare lands another solid rocket hit in the middle of the aliens, but they manage to avoid most of the damage
Raven patches up Haul while he lays down some suppression fire on the Thin Man leader
Who ignores the hail of laser fire and takes Haul down!
Villiams moves over to support, taking out a Thin Man with an excellent shot
Blinded by bloodlust, the Thin Man leader failed to notice that the car he was behind was about to explode...but somehow the creature survives the blast
Meanwhile, Villiams takes out one of the remaining floaters
And Maelle the other
Allowing Raven to stabalize Haul, and leaving just two Thin Men to mop up
The Thin men fall back, but it does them little good. Maelle takes out one from across the map.
And Abstraum and Bruciare pull a flanking maneuver on the badly injured leader
A decent mission. Haul was badly injured in the fighting, adding to our mounting sick bay list, but otherwise the mission went pretty well.
Resource wise, we got an amazing 26 Meld off of that mission!
As well as some additional funds from Germany
