Anything you guys can recommend me for SNES, GBA or PSX, I will try. I'm open to any and all genres, as long as you think the game is good I will seek it out and give it a shot.

I'm also looking for general recommendations for dungeon crawls.

I know those are some pretty vague guidelines, but I'm hoping that once we get past the classics like Final Fantasy (played all of them), people won't hesitate to recommend the stuff they love more personally. I love trying new games, and I aim to play as many as I can and collect the best of them.

Both Oddworld games on PS1 are good.

I hesitate to suggest any more because I don't know what you have/haven't played.

You should try Medievil and PS1. Also Abe's Oddysee plus it's sequels.

All the below are for the SNES, however I think it would be very difficult finding actual copies of these games which are not roms.
b]Secret of Mana[/b] for the SNES was a great game back in the day, as well as Secret of Mana 2. And Chrono Trigger as well but I recommend the DS version.
You could go for Secret of Evermore, think of it as an americanized verison of Secret of Mana.
Hmm.. what else.. Actraiser was pretty good (The sequel kind of removed features from the original.).
Soulblazer is also a decent game.

Snes: i would recommend Seikendensetsu 3 its basically secret of mana 3 (theres english version.). also im curious is there secret of mana 2? cause i have not found it.
all final fantasy made for snes my fav being ff5 that had fun job system.
Zelda 2 best zelda.
Metroid and megaman series.
kirby nes version is actually funniest .

Psx: i recommend symphony of the night. best castlevania ever made.

Gba: aria of sorrow sequal to symphony of the night but not as good.

Mother 3 for GBA. If you haven't played that, go play it. You will need the fan translation patch. Great story, humor, and the turn-based combat is also rhythm-based. many hours of fun.

Seikendenetsu 3 is Secret of Mana 2. And Seikendenetsu 2 is just Secret of Mana.
It's weird how things released outside of Japan is numbered differently. But I suppose it kind of makes sense.

SNES: Chaos. Freaking. Seed. Needed to get that out of my system. That game is gorram amazing.

The super robot wars games. Didn't you say you hadn't played them yet, Guni? You have some on all three mentioned systems, even! You need to go play those. They're some of the most wonderful fanfiction ever professionally produced.

If you've yet to do ogre battle, go do ogre battle. SNES or PSX version, whatever. Bahamut Lagoon, perhaps. The langrisser games... they're on both the SNES and the PSX, iirc, and fantranz'd over the years.

Chaos World is a bit older (NES era) but also pretty neat. This was also pretty darn awesome.

I think you've played the old Front Mission stuff? If not, definitely do Gun Hazard. Liva-a-Live? Monstania is an alright little SRPG. This. This. Thi-- actually, just [blegh, editing] check out aeon genesis translation project. Most of the[ir] completed projects are some variation of golden.

GBA, I'm not sure there's terribly much worth mentioning that aren't obvious, ha. Dragon Quest Monsters, maybe. Perhaps check out Oriental Blue -- it's a fantranz'd one that's pretty solid, from what I remember of playing it. The Summon Night games, if for some reason you missed them.

If you're willing to go to other systems, this was a pretty neat little gamegear game.

Bunch of PSX stuff probably worth mentioning I've forgotten about. Bunch of a lot of stuff worthy of mention I've not mentioned/forgotten. But those are some nice places to start. And, as always, I recommend skimming through a list [squelch] of translated games, as per the obvious major translation website asked not to be mentioned. It's not a guaranteed thing, but it's fairly likely that if someone's gone through the trouble of translating a game, they think it's worth playing.

unrelated to JRPG games but if you want to try something else after the avalanche of them, there's at least a Fire Pro Wrestling game available for SNES , GBA or PSX, some of the finest wrestling game, very simple to get into (as it's all about good timing, mashing buttons will only lead the competent AI to destroy you repeatedly) while very technical with lots of possibilities at the same time.

if we go to territory of romhacks i would recommend final fantasy tactics 1.3
its basically final fantasy tactics but its balanced way better. it also fixes bugs
and amps up the difficulty into territory of impossible

Also i have played advance versions of tactics and its way too short.
still i liked the dynamics of law system.

Evo: The Search for Eden is a nice little action rpg plataformer thing for the snes that has quite a unique gimmick to it. You basically have to start as a prehistoric fish and slowly evolve yourself through the ages (going from pre-dinosaur era fish to amphibian, dinosaur, birds, mammals, etc) till you reach the end of the game. There are different endings and secrets to find too.

Any of the Shin Megami Tensei (NOT the persona games, the original series) are great, specialy Nocturne for the PS2.

Suikoden 2 for the PSX is an amazing jrpg for the ps1 that sadly never got much attention in the in the west because by the time it got released here, it was already the dying days of the PSX.

The already mentioned Live a Live is an incredible unique JRPG that sadly never got released overseas but got a great fan translation years ago and its pretty great.

Valkyrie Profile for the PSX is also by far one of the best JRPG's in the system ever. Got a unique take on norse mythology, and amazing soundtrack and a unique way of story progression since you basically know when the game will end (with ragnarok), and every time you take part in an event, time goes foward. You have to recruit warriors and make them strong enough to fight in ragnarok. There's multiple endings and lots of replay value with a new game plus mode after you beat the game.

Aditionaly, theres Legend of Mana for the PSX, which is, in my opinion, the very best game of the Mana series by far. You basically get to recreate the world as you play. The story is kind of non linear, taking place in events that the your character takes part in. Some of them intertwine and sometimes you may only finish one by having met certain pre-requisites in others. Game's got some amazing art style and customizable content, as later in the game you'll gain the ability to raise monster companions to fight with you, craft golems, create, name and enchant your own weapons and magic, learn special moves as you become skilled with a certain weapon, etc. One of the best action rpgs I have ever played.

You likely have played this already, but chrono trigger for the snes and its pseudo sequel chrono cross for the psx are quite great jrpg's that will keep you busy for a good while. Both have multiple endings and several characters for you to make teams with.

For a more obscure game, you can try dark law: meaning of death for the snes. One of the darkest stragy-ish jrpg's I have ever played.

For the PS1 you got the monster rancher and monster rancher 2 games, which are basically a virtual pet kind of game in which you can spawn monster from any normal CD you have, train them, combine them into different monsters... Each game probably got me busy for more then a hundred hours in my childhood.

For a nice ninja/stealth game you can try tenchu and tenchu 2 for the psx. They're a rare gem of the psx era in which you can actualy stealth past everything and feel like an actual ninja.
