Mastahcheese, how do you feel about likely getting elected for night duty?

Scripten, you say you want to see someone other than TolyK get lynched, so is it a good idea for you to recommend voting for him just to avoid a no-lynch, especially since there are seven other votes that weren't on TolyK or Vivalas at that point? What made you pick Vivalas over Caz and Comrade, your other two scum reads?

flabort, similar question. TolyK was had one vote more than anyone else before you voted for him. Is your only reason for the vote to break the tie? Is that a good enough reason?

Unvote, Yes my only reason for voting him is that I didn't want to see a no-lynch and he has played more than the other guy.
Also, no, he was tied with Vivalas at the time that I voted him, because the voter before me made it a tie. So someone had to break the tie.

But given that we have some more time now, I'd like to ask a couple questions.

Dues Asmoth For each pair, who would you rather see lynched?
Shamrock       Scripten
Mastahcheese      TheDarkStar
Vivalas        Flabort
Silthuri        Tiruin
TolyK        Caz

Comrade Shamrock
For each of the above pairings, who would you rather see as lookout? Who would you rather see protected at night? Who would you rather see nightkilled? Who would you rather see lynched? You would you rather know more about their alignment?

Voting to avoid a no lynch is a good idea, though it is not as important in this setup as it is in the beginners' games. If I really wanted to ensure a no lynch, I'd vote for TolyK, but I'm currently town reading him to a moderate extent.

Comrade isn't as scummy and Caz has no votes on him right now. My vote would have pretty much just been a vanity vote rather than one made to accomplish something.

Mastahcheese      TheDarkStar
Vivalas        Flabort

Flabort, I am going to be looking VERY carefully at these pairings when people start flipping.

Why did you choose the pairings you did, and why are you limiting answers to be within these pairs?

Kinda sucks because I hate being the center of attention.
Although, I suppose I'm as good a candidate as any, since I'm not a power role, so I have no need to preserve myself. (Yeah, I'm going ahead and claiming vanilla. No point not too.)
Meh. Good parts and bad parts. We'll see how it goes.

If there are any protective roles, they should probably protect mastahcheese.

Scripten:
I know you're trying to avoid a no lynch but it just seems odd that you're suggesting go Tolyk or whoever you choose.

In case I do not get my catchup post out before the end of the day...

Unvote Persus13
Vote Vivalas

Also why Vivalas? You say he's scummier but you don't say how. Deathsword has a post on why, so what are your reasons?

Also you missed this. It was in a spoiler so I forgive you.
Besides why did you think I would claim third party? I can conjure to mind only one role that it might be beneficial: survivor. Is there any others you can think of?

You also haven't pressed me on the AT gun answer, why is that? Were you planning on leaving it to someone else?

Did you forget Deathsword and Persus or were they left out for convenience? You gave yourself a much weaker player and scummier player as a partner, this kinda scewed it in your favour. It could be an attempt to make public opinion appear on your side. Don't tell me this is random either, Tiruin and Silthuri together seems like too much of a coincidence.

I'd still like to know what Shamrock learned from the word associations before the day is out.

It's late I'll try in the morning.

And now we've ensured that it's a WIFOM situation for scum (because before, they were certainly going to kill you once you said that you would be watching rather than hiding).

I'd be fine with it I suppose. I'd rather not be picked because I'm not too terribly good with investigative powers.

I'll get to actually reading through everything once I finish up some other work on the forums. Until then... extend.

Caz:
Please refer me to where we agreed that we would be lynched by hiding during watch. I gathered that the action was somewhat justifiable.

The jury has decided, sorry.

Deathsword
Try to scumhunt more than anyone else. Hopefuly, that would make people think me as very much town and while that might make me a target to scum, laying low would also make me a prime night-kill target, since there'd be nothing indicating it was a scumkill.
Why would laying low make you a night-kill target? Don't scum like players that aren't doing anything?
Whenever I play scum, I tend to go for low-activity targets as night-kill targets, because, since they acted so little, there is very little interaction with them for anyone to trace it back to me. Killing high-activity players is far riskier, as they are probably attacking you or your scumbuddies, and it looks bad if they die while attacking someone.

Fair enough. As scum, what would make you go after a more active target?

Geez, you guys have been busy. I'll be back tomorrow morning with a recap and I'll try to touch on all the questions directed at me. While I get some sleep, though, let us consider the following.

Dayvig: Caz

(Note: Role doesn't indicate that dayvig ends the day, so feel free to discuss. :) )

Excuse me?

For each of the two collumns above, who do you want dead the most? The least?

I still don't see the point of this multiple choice thing. Like others said - why did you list them in that manner? Anyway...

Shamrock    Scripten
Mastahcheese      TheDarkStar
Vivalas        Flabort
Silthuri        Tiruin
TolyK        Caz

Most dead column 1: Vivalas for cowardice. Hey, I see a vote tie. Vivalas, then.
Most dead column 2: TDS, duh :P nah, i'm picking flabort for making this ridiculous column thing.
Least dead column 1: Ugh, idk. Probably mastahcheese but I don't really trust him much.
Least dead column 2: Me. If I can't self-pick, then probably Scripten. He seems to be making himself useful.

Also - Wb Silthuri.

MOD: What happens if the same person is voted to both be lynched and put on watch?

Not suggesting we do this, just asking.
