I am withdrawing from Blackwell Collection, Gemini Rue, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut.

For those that signed up for the X-COM Complete pack, you may want to look at the classic X-COM titles from gigaraptor487 on the 21st.  There's basically no sign-ups for them so far, so if there's a specific title from the classic X-COM list you're fond of, the odds of getting it are very good!

It's a decent idea, but sometimes practical realities get in the way.  Some people can only do drawings on a single day or within a time window.  Some of it may just be that I made a slightly sloppy schedule.    Getting things out there and visible was more important than having a well choreographed ballet.  *shrugs*

Today the foreigner police informed me that I was one day late submitting my appeal against their unfair decision to reject my visa application. They said I had 15 days to appeal, which I assumed were business days, but no, they counted weekends. I was one single day late, and now they refuse to even look at the appeal, even though they admit that it would surely have been accepted and my visa granted, and everything would have been fine. There is one more small chance during a meeting next week that they will change their mind and look at my file once more, in which case I will surely be approved and my life can continue as usual. But that is not likely to happen, because they are soulless monsters who have no qualms about ruining a person's entire life right before Christmas, merely because of a tiny misunderstanding and a technicality.

Why am I telling you all this? Because I am in severely bad shape right now. I've lived here for five years. My entire life is here. I have a cat. I cannot, can NOT, go back to the USA. I am quite seriously losing my shit over here.

I am going to do my best to keep up with the giveaway, and I promise that I will definitely make sure all the games get drawn, but I can't promise that everything will be on time now. If I am late with anything or forget a drawing, feel free to remind me, just please be patient if I don't respond right away. And if you are religious or practice any kind of witchcraft or other types of magic, please feel free to call down the wrath of all the gods and demons in the universe upon the Czech government and the bureaucrats who run it. They are the sort of people who don't see anything wrong with persecuting a tax-paying, charitable, beloved member of the local community whose main job is teaching first and second graders in a local public elementary school for no reason beyond a tiny misunderstanding on an absurdly complicated legal document which is not in her native language. So, you know. They deserve to burn in hell for all eternity.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to have several beers for dinner. I missed lunch, so I'll have to make up for it with extra beer.
