Um. Ok then. Well, more for everyone else. ::)

Personally, I vouch for Ari's decision to make the rules binding, and having a strict entry procedure.
If they can't step through the very low hoops he's set up, then I'm perfectly fine with not giving them something for nothing.

* Tiruin coughs.
End of rule list :P

...I think its a valid statistic to gloss over that the end of rule lists are sometimes missed? That would be a curiously intriguing study. x3

Also wow this thread leaps a lot of pages (1 page = 15 posts...). And all those puns XD
Love this. Thanks Aristabulus for being so diligent c:
It's finals here too (actually, Monday > Thursday) and wow that diligence ._.
I know how long and how argh formatting is. Much wow there.

let's get back to the xmas good and positive feelings pretty please?

* Tiruin then says one word: Saltire. She then goes and makes historical references on things regarding this month. Have a fun fact!

I added that in the original post. I think it's mainly that rule number 7 has a very large font that makes people's eyes skip over the rest of it. However, it's also due to the fact that the thought process of most people is LOOK AT THEM GAMES I WANT THEM and those rules also exist i guess.

My thought process was 'Oh man, its back!', followed by wondering if these were actually the same rules as last year in a different order, and then what fniff said.

Also woo, smashing! :D

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

A successful signup!  Huzzah!  :)

...
Still missing something.
He got the critical stuff, and from the format of his requests I can tell he actually read the rules.  Like I said above, not a bureaucrat...  I just want the data I need to process to be contained within a singular post, makes this job easier less hard.

I'm still gonna hold people to the rules, even if they didn't say the words, though...
If you wake up to a ravenous shoggoth chewing on your limbs, you'll know you really screwed up.  ;)

-------

In Tomato's defense he was apparently referencing an injoke from a DF Community game he was part of.
...
There's also the fact that I didn't slam an actual door and wasn't trying to act angry at anyone except myself, but I've made worse compromises than this to make people happy. I know where I'm not wanted. Sorry to have bothered you with this, Aristabulus.

Intent counts for a lot; I'm not a mind reader, and like I said above, there was no indicator of anything other than plain-old-angry.

Referencing a community game that I've never been a part of was a bad idea from the start, especially when the face-value reading of it is plain-old-angry.

I grow weary of discussing this, so I'm gonna let Lawrence Fishburne finish this one for me:

I think its different for other people. Like me, I read all the rules, then I posted...then oh goodness why didn't I add #10 despite reading it all thoroughly x_x

On that note: Morpheus is awesome.

I size bump additions to make them stand out.  They've been up for a few days, so I suppose I can dial them back down to normal again.

The rules are 97% the same as last year.  Some little fiddling with wording, some extra info due to Humble stuff, but they're essentially the same.
