Shouldn't this be in Other Games (or perhaps PWYB) ? :T
Other than that, I myself don't play it, but I'm sure there are at the very least a few people who do, depending on when it was released?

I believe there's a button called 'move thread' somewhere close to where 'lock thread' is, Cryxis.

I'm not sure about what kind of thing you're using to browse the forums, but on Mozilla Firefox on a desktop it shows up like this for me.

Thanks cheetar

Also, for some reason my cd key thing ain't working so no online play anyways

Who would like to discuss some of their memorable game play experiences?

I will start with saying, today I played for about 3~4 hours straight as Scipio and took the African half of Carthage, all of Sicily, and Sparta then 3 of my towns started rioting

Dunno why, they had pretty good upgraded buildings and such

This is probably the best/quickest run I've had yet though

I still play. Buying cities in campaign is pretty fun and pretty easy if you play as a faction that can quickly take over the Egypt or Greek regions. Bribing is fun too.

I still find myself humming the music to this game, years after being pretty obsessed with it.  It's a good one.  One of my favorites in the TW series!

Europa Barbarorum 1 was certainly a major part of my life back in the day, nowadays Europa Barbarorum 2 is out (abit early beta) for Medieval 2 so really no reason to go back to it.

I still play a really old save. The entire map is split between me (from the UK to Spain, all of central and western Europe up to Russia), Scipii (Africa and some of the Middle East) and Brutii (Eastern Europe and some of the Middle East). We long ago crushed all opposing factions. Personally I was involved in 3 glorious wars, firstly against the Gauls and Bretons where I built up a large army of heavy infantry. This army was then turned against Germania, in a horribly bloody campaign which left most of my infantry dead, save for some high value skirmishers. Spain then took the brunt of my new army post-reforms. This was a short campaign. When the dust settled, it emerged that Scipii had taken care of Carthage and Egypt, and that Brutii had cleaned out Greece, Dacia, Macedon et al. We are so delicately balanced, and the civil war is ready to erupt any day now (and it has been for almost 100 years now), but nobody wants to be the one to make the first move and make the other 2 come down on them. When it does happen, thanks to huge shared borders, large well equipped experienced armies all round, and huge fleets, it is going to be brutal.

Speaking of war campaigns, (on a smaller scale) after taking Carthage and setting up governors I found that I had no new heirs to govern my cities and the ones in the Carthage area had seen enough bloodshed so instead of going to war with Numidia I started a large army in Sicily, built two quinquiremes and sailed them off to Sparta. The ships blockaded the port and Sparta had few troops since it had been at war with Macedonia for the majority of the game. Had a very quick take over annnnd Plauge... Waited out the plague and got orders to take a near city so split the army and sent it over. After four turns of attacking and retreating, the army was widdled down to a few units and so my Greek campaign grinder to a hault

I still play this every so often! It was one of my very first PC games, and I loved it so. So many glorious victories and hard-fought defeats.
