Just to clarify, I haven't been staling turns, that was just llamaserver weirdness.  I think that's all resolved now.

So my Androphag Archer (cap only archer unit) shows up as a commander instead of a unit?  I know I put him back to cap-only, but I don't remember promoting him to commander.  Annoying because it means I can't recruit them at all (for all intents and purposes).

Given the slightly esoteric nature of the unit (capital only), it never came up before.  And, interestingly enough, it does show up in my province defense forces, which further made me think that everything was ok.  Yes, I should have checked things much more thoroughly.

Did we lose someone to going AI? I'm only counting 4 entries on llama. I thought I had pretty decent scout coverage and would've noticed a dire enough situation to warrant that.

Yeah, I turned to AI.
I mean, I don't have any real troop left (lost all my Sacred and mages, killing only half of the attackers) in a province neighbouring my capital.
I think the "large province' tags were not enough to compensate from the waste and mountain provinces, as I had on ~650 gold income with ~10 provinces, but I have been just unlucky.

Anyway, I've lost :/

Not to say that people should start slacking off, since I've been really digging the fast-paced turns here, but given that my turns are starting to really take a lot longer than they used to, I've upped the clock to 48 hours.

Sylphs vs Warriors of the Five Elements is not a fun matchup for the sylphs. Wish they'd hit your Spire Horns instead.

Those warriors are pretty much the definition of a glass cannon - they hit HARD and FAST, but when anything hits them, they go down quickly.  They do have their insanely high defense going for them - all in all not a pleasant unit to have to fight.

Don't most AoE spell ignore the defense stat ?
But on the other hand, most AoE spells are element-based, so the warriros will resist em at least a bit :/
