Athena raised an eyebrow and began to wonder what exactly must have happened,
"I guess I'll wait then" she gave a quick wave to the shopkeeper as she headed back outside, she settled down in the same place she had before and resumed watching the duel.

"Ah, I see."  Stepping out, Meriel silently began to watch the duel with the others.

Crap. A tribute summon in face down position... It was an invitation to attack and lose lifepoints... What could he... Wait a second. THAT'S IT! A broad grin graced his features as his determination flared up again.

"First, I'll summon King Tiger Wanghu, in Attack position. Next, Rockstone Warrior attacks your face down tribute summon!"

Please have 2250 or below please please please. He could only think this as Rockstone charged forward, swinging a heavy fist at the Shopkeeper's face down monster.

"I activate Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your Lightning Blade. That should bring your Queen's Knight back down to 1500 Attack, not enough to beat Renge, Gatekeeper of Dark World." Jason says, activating MST and then revealing Renge.

Bert cringed as he watched the play. The Rockstone would save Ken from taking battle damage, so it wasn't that bad, but he got a very distinct impression that Ken hadn't read his cards very closely...

Ken curses, and discards all three of his monsters. This... Was going to be a lot more difficult.

"I end my turn."

Jason smirks. "I activate Foolish Burial to send Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World to the graveyard." He pauses to see if his opponent has any way to interrupt this. "Then I activate Grapha's effect and return Renge to my hand to Special Summon Grapha. I also set a face down monster." Jason continues, special summoning Grapha and setting Renge face down again . "And for the battle phase, I'll have Grapha attack your Queen's Knight. "

Athena sighed as she saw the trap activate, it looked like this duel was all over now. All the woman needed was one more monster, there was still a chance for Ken to pull this off but it was small at best

Ken looked at his drawn card, then at the field. He'd need a miracle to win now... And he'd do his best to make that happen!

"I play Blindly Loyal Goblin, who attacks your monster on the left!"

He was aiming for the monster she'd just played. He'd have to eat away at her life points fast, before she drew another life gain card... After the attack, he'd end his turn.

Athena frowned slightly as she watched Ken's opponent end her turn, why hadn't she attacked? It would have been easy for her to win that turn. She sighed slightly and settled back down to watching the duel, wondering if Ken would be able to pull back a victory.
