State of Eastern Prussia

Two more headquarters were built on the French border, while fortifications were established in Silesia. Is Prussia getting ready to revolt?

Ottoman Sultanate

Joining the new club of maritime powers, the Ottoman Sultanate established a port in Izmir. An academy in Anatolia completed Ottoman Turkey's super educational facilities and made it the top scientific nation worldwide.

Russian Empire

In Scandinavia, troops moved to occupy the last Scandinavian stronghold in continental Europe, while another army moved to guard to fortify the countless fjords of the Norwegian shore.

To the South, a vast offensive to retake the land seized by the Arluenese was under way. A vast defensive front was established in an arc ranging from Sevastopol on the Black Sea to Astrakhan on the Caspian. Then 3 divisions under the command of the Tsar's own brother sallied forth.

Code: [Select]
6 v. 5
Arluen army destroyed.
Province is conquered!
Railway are destroyed!

The Arluenese soldiers, ill-led and ill-prepared were no match for the Russian army and were destroyed like mere flies.[/i]

Southern Europa
A port and an HQ were established.

Avril 1900 - Turn 4

[/b]

Empire Français
The French armies in Portugal and Galicia charged forward. Taking heavily-fortified Madrid was almost impossible, but it was the only chance to end the Spanish rebellion and protect the Empire's possessions in the Mediterranean.

Code: (First Battle of Madrid) [Select]
2 v. 3+4
French Army destroyed.
6 v. 3+4
French Army destroyed.

With the attack's failure, more troops were sailed in from Brittany and hastily-built barricades were erected on the border.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

France is willing to grant trade treatises to anyone willing to join the war against the Spanish. Alliance might be signed to let armies through.

BTW, if Arluen had fortifications in place, they would have won that battle.

Query, why do I have only 12 out of 13 armies? Treaties do take effect at the end of the turn right, so before new units spawns?

Because I forgot to add your treaty until after I spawned your units, and it was late. Yeah, you got an extra army in #3.

State of Prussia hears the call of the French Empire; and thusly we promise to consider joining the war against Spanish Empire if the humble requirements listed below would be fulfilled:

Empire Francois cedes Netherlands (#80), Luxembourg (#83), Western and Southern Germany (#81 and #77), Bohemia-Moravia (#73) and Slovakia (#42) to State of Prussia. In case the Emperor is not feeling generous for whichever reason, State of Prussia will be satisfied if at least Western and Southern Germany will be ceded. Of course, a formal Alliance would follow so armies of Prussia would be able to reach Spanish territories.

This is, of course, a mere proposal and not a binding action. Just something to consider during afternoon tea.

((That's a weird way to negotiate. We want all of this! But if you don't feel like giving it, we will be satisfied with only this.))

The Emperor is not going to sell half of his Empire to save the other half. Moreover, Southern Germany is a critical part of our miitary infrastructure. Should Prussia do well in battle however, we could grant it some land as recompense.

Scandinavia is willing to join the war against Spain, and all we would like in return is province 97, an island of little import. We would also be very willing to defend your Mediterranean islands with our navy, in exchange for an alliance.

((Also, by the way, since I never officially accepted that) Scandinavia accepts the peace offers.

Then State of Prussia will not participate in war against Spanish. Without at least Southern Germany, we cannot field nor transport our forces fast enough to efficiently fight against the insurgents.

Also, Ulrich Adalbert von Eisenbaum-Braunschwert personally wishes the Emperor and his Empire all the best in the fight against Spanish.

Scandinavia doesn't do anything, and requests help dealing with Albion.

Shouldn't there be an army on 27?

Ok, let me rephrase that. Yes, there is an army on 27. It's not yet on the map of your turn, because I haven't processed the other turns yet.

Come one tntey, nothing remotely affecting you has happened since the last processing. Just mentally add 1 army to each HQ and capital (you'll have 6, which is under the limit, so no uncertainty there) and submit a turn.
