Huh. Didn't see that somehow. 69, then.

Also, accept the French trade treaty from OOC, unless that was a cruel joke.

Ok, since tntey didn't post twice in a row, and didn't even bother to answer his MPs, he's out of the game. Arluen is now an NPC.

Democratic States of Arluen

Arluen would like to trade Diesel for Explosive Shells with Southern Europa or Spain.

Spanish Empire

Organizing your few reserves into a makeshift army, you attempt to take Valencia to remove the threat on your capital, which would free up the army needed to defend it.

Code: (Defender order) [Select]
Albion
France

Code: (Battle of Valencia) [Select]
4+2 v. 4+3

Spanish Army destroyed.
Albion wins the battle!

Your army attack a sector of the front defended by Albion, and fails to cross the fortifications.

1 army from Pomerania to #76 and another one to #74.

Build Railroads in Netherlands and Slovakia, plus an Academy in Moravia.

State of Prussia

You decide that a great offensive is needed to cut the Empire in two. Three Prussians army corps charge from thee different points along the frontline, all setting for the great fortified city of München. The Brandenburg corp is the first to be destroyed near the border, in a battle with Beaumarchais' 5ème Armée des Alpes. The freed French army quickly march south, attacking the rear of the Silesian corp that was stuck in a series of skirmishes with the 6ème Armées. The combined French army then rally München just in time to intercept the Moravia corp and win the day for France.

Code: [Select]
2+2 v. 4+2
Prussian army destroyed.
4+2 v. 4+2
1+2 v. 3+2
Prussian army destroyed.
5+2 v. 6+2
Prussian army destroyed.
France wins the Battle.

"A man in command cannot dream to have hundred victories and no defeats. Repay this defeat with a victory next time." These words were uttered by Chief Ulrich to those generals and commanders who managed to return from under Munchen.

Ottoman Empire

Saddened by your defeat at the hands of the Arab savages, you turn you armies West, raising your flag in rebellion. Just as they did four centuries hence, Turkish janissaries cross the Carpathian to annex the plains of Hungary.

Code: (Battle of Hungary) [Select]
6+2 v. 2+2
French Army destroyed.
3+2 v. 1+2
French Army destroyed.

Ottoman wins the Battle.

The network of fortifications the French had built lay in ruin, but the Ottoman crescent once more fly from the castle of Buda.

Russian Empire

The new Albionese harbor in Sweden threaten the whole Baltic and Finnic coast. It is a gun aimed at you, and cannot remain in enemy hands. As such, a large force is sent to push Albion back into the sea. Your forces however are entirely not up to the task. Led by one of their best general, the Albioneses push your men back with only minor losses.

Code: (Battle of Sweden) [Select]
3+1 v. 1+3
3+1 v. 2+3
Russian Army destroyed.

3+1 v. 2+3
Russian Army destroyed.

1+1 v. 4+3
Russian Army destroyed.

1+1 v. 1+3
Russian Army destroyed.
Albion wins the battle.

In the south, you send your armies to avenge the destroyed Prussian corps. The fight is long and bloody on both side, but in the end you fails to secure Southern Germany.

Code: [Select]
5+1 v. 4+2
1+1 v. 1+2
Russian Army destroyed.

6+1 v. 4+2
French Army destroyed.

3+1 v. 5+2
Russian Army destroyed.
France wins the battle.

France and Arluen announce that they have signed a trade treaty.

I'm processing the turn now, but Albion can accept the alliance before its turn and it'll be effective for August. No reason to penalize stabbymcstabstab for being last in the turn order.

Republic of Southern Europa

Stuff happens. You also get a message from France, announcing that it and Arluen have signed a Trade treaty and an Alliance pact. In addition, France gave Arluen Explosive Shells.

August 1900 - Turn 8

Spoiler: Diplomacy (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Technology (click to show/hide)

Code: (Random Events) [Select]
Roll:15
Typhus outbreak in Albania! Thousands dies in the outbreak.

Roll:4
Earthquake in Algeria. Thousands dies there too, luckily the land is to backward to have any infrastructure that could collapse.

Empire Français

Awed by the new Prussian communications and realizing an attack on that front is hopeless, the French High command decide to dig in.

On the Spanish front though, one army is sent from Valencia in yet another attempt to take Madrid, while another land in Galicia.

Code: (Battle of Madrid) [Select]
6+1 v. 1+4
Spanish army destroyed.

France wins the battle!

The unthinkable happens. The Spanish, dulled from the numerous previous unsuccessful attempt, forgot to position enough sentries, allowing French troops to storm the Spanish capital under the cover of night. An heroic last stand in the building of the Spanish Academy of Science ends under a storm of French shells. Corsica, Portugal and Catalonia all surrender to the French troops, while the Spanish Emperor barely escape to Andalusia.

Code: (Battle of Galicia) [Select]
3+1 v. 5+2
French Army destroyed
Spain wins the battle

No such luck in Galicia however, where French troops are destroyed by the Spanish garrison.

Albion wishes to require what rewards it will receive for it's unwavering support against the rest of the world. The Britsh army, having executed major operations across whole Europe, currently finds itself with a significant shortage of resources.
