The trio wandered into a long hallway. Doors leading to other rooms were opened and many corpses of different robotic sentries were littered about. Console panels all displayed information about how the 1st of Tertiary units has been lost and the remaining 7 couldn't be communicated with.

Beryn examined the control panel.

"...Seven? Huh. Might be more of them around here then. Keep an eye out, yeah?"

Without wandering away from the girls, Beryn poked his head into some of the rooms and looked around to see what was in them.

The rooms were either full of broken or beeping electronics, or storage rooms that were thoroughly plundered of valuable or useful items.

Beryn sighed heavily and put his hands on his hips.

"Well, what do y'all want to do? Check around some more or head on back?"

She poked at one of the sparking bot corpses with her lance.

"Maybe they broke down over time. Like how a building can rot and cave in if it ain't taken care of or built right."

Beryn nodded authoritatively.

"Eh, maybe. This was built by the ancients and it still seems pretty sturdy. Maybe it's just the smaller things like those guys that are shoddy. It'd be damn nice if we could've found another weapon or two though; that thing Barry and Jess were passing around seemed pretty good."

Get some nice container boxes, because while they are not that useful--they can keep stuff in a very nice utilitarian and compact hauling way.

"They could also be out of contact range. I'm assuming 'communications' means their own way of talking to each other, like how we can yell at the top of our voices to other people far away--theirs is just more metal-like. I'd like to meet one that isn't wanting to kill me myself. For knowledge. Did you check all the rooms, Beryn?"

The wyvern hunter shrugged.

"You be careful if you go poking around, all right? We'll be right here to keep an eye on ya but don't you be taking any unnecessary risks."

Reason for break-down? Are those robots matching Beryn's details? Anything I can detach from the robots for use? (or haul them out for a burial)?

Beryn scratched his head and shrugged. He wasn't sure why Jesseo was hauling out robots, but with a sigh he started to pitch in.

"Jess, any reason we're bothering with these things? Seems like we oughtta just let sleeping dogs lie. Best way not to get bit."
