...She had always assumed it was some sort of 'flair' to his green ones.

"You should teach me about fashion one day. You and Lucrezia. Hope she's ok. Glad you two are. Anyone you're thinking about here?"

"Hey, now. I ain't much for fashion. I mean excepting the armor this is pretty much how we dress where I'm from."

He spread his arms as if to indicate his clothes (which you can find in his bio by clicking on his mug). At her question, he sighed.

"Yeah, I'm worried about the little sprout. It ain't like she can shout for help or anything, y'know? And Prata too. It ain't like him to not be looking for me. And the others... well, the big ol' ox Barry can take care of himself, and so can the Cap'n, but I'd feel a bit better having everyone around."

"Actually, Luc can speak. It's...complicated. But we're getting along with it. Just that I sorta lost my...well, I misplaced what I wanted to help her with."

Jesseo involuntarily checked her side belt-pocket. Nope, no secret puppet there.

"Though I worry about our mounts. Prata seems like a very instinctive creature. I wonder how anyone would've...gotten him. Must be unconscious. Hopefully there aren't the weapons here that'd induce that state. I've heard its a natural defense for some animals. Ever heard of poisonous frogs in your hunts?"

The spider went after Aiesha, trying to bite her! And it did! The powerful spidery jaws whatever they are called latched on her arm! In a fit of anger, Aiesha retaliated by smashing the dagger handle-deep into the spidery head. Yellow goo splashed at her face as the spider clacked, let go off her hand, and then crumbled to the side.

Aiesha stumbled out the trees, clutching her bloodied arm as her vision swam. That venom was no joke. Or was that the blood loss? "That didn't go to plan." Stopping only a moment to spit on the corpse of the spider, Aiesha went toward the others.

9,18 so Jesseo can heal me and take the blade ring for now.

"Beryn, I think they're actually territorial. I know where it is but I can't see it now, and if it was actually hostile, then it'd be visible to me here. You go after it--I'll tend to Aiesha. I think she's wounded given the lapse of time. Go check the pool of water please. I'm sure there're tracks there."
