Elanore nodded to Stheno calling Amberly infuriating, this was more familiar territory for her, until Stheno almost outright brought up her deception, though talking about the god resurrection.
  "Mmm, I understand what you mean with not wanting petty conflict. Until the revelation at the house of scholars, I was mostly okay with this job, excepting the low pay. Now though..." Elanore sighed, and shrugged.
  "You understand why I kept that information from you however, since I don't believe it's a smart thing to go around talking about resurrecting a dead god. That, and I didn't know if you would be with the group long enough for us to get to that point... For what it's worth, I'm sorry for lying, but I thought it was best kept on a need to know basis. If you disagree with that, then again, I'm sorry."

"Not to worry darling, I understand why you did it."

"In fact, I wholeheartedly approve. This is a serious matter and secrecy is for the best."

"Now then, we should really pick up our pace and return to the ship, don't you think?"

Alicia turned to face Aiesha and Cetus. Her hands began to finger a series of knots on her belt.

: "You two are going to have to make sure that things don't fall apart completely. I've got some old sailing manuals tucked up in my desk if you need any references. Second drawer to the right. One drawer below that is a sewing kit and some patches in case you need to make emergency pairs to the sails. And I know that we haven't quite gotten along but..."

: "I bought this with the crew fund, so I figure it should stay with you guys. It's not as hefty as that scimitar, but if you point it true you'll find it can do just as much damage. Keep safe alright?"

"Hey, take care of yourself. If you don't mind making an honest living and can hunt, you can make your way up to Xos. They can always use people to go out and get them supplies and food and things. Just something to think about. If you need a place to stay you can just tell my mom you're friends with me and then you can crash with her for awhile."

She looked away and saw Stheno. She now knew exactly what she had meant.

She looked the other way instead. There should Beryn... memories of Cetus using her and Beryn as an example for his explanation rose to her mind.
