Alicia didn't bother yelling back. Rather she pondered how exactly she could be heard across a river when her voice pointed backwards towards Aiesha and Ethan. Was her voice really that loud, or were his ears simply superhuman? Either point troubled her with equal measure.

Aiesha covered her face with a hand. "Now look what you've done! Ugh, you don't do anything but start trouble anymore!"

She heaves her large club over her shoulder.

"If you keep your head down and fate is feeling generous, you might even survive. Though I'd wager between the pirates and the bandits it would take Undine's luck to keep all of your goods."

: "Hey, it ain't my fault he's got ears like an elephant and a burr up his ass. He's just stereotyping us and that's ruuuude."

Alicia was retaining her high spirits. Never fought a wyvern before. Too bad Ethan said no killing. Ah well. Perhaps green hair would be more sociable. She cupped her hands and started yelling across the way again.

: "Hey you there! Lady! Boss said he doesn't like hurting Alvadans! Only Domirians and Domirian friends get to die by our sword, because killing other people is baaaaad. You're not Domirian are you?"

Elanore was pretty annoyed that the pirate woman managed to get possibly the only bandits around to see them as simply pirates that wanted to kill them and loot their gear.
: "Remind me to never let you talk for any of us, even if you wanted to rob innocent travellers, its not what any of us merc's were paid to do." Turning to look at the duo, she shouted
: "Hey! We're not a threat! We just have a couple of people who should clearly be in a mental asylum!" Elanore gave a sharp look at Alicia, somehow she just managed to keep on digging a larger hole for the entire group.

: "Hey you there! Lady! Boss said he doesn't like hurting Alvadans! Only Domirians and Domirian friends get to die by our sword, because killing other people is baaaaad. You're not Domirian are you?"

"Under terms like that I think I'd rather be Alvadan for the day."

: "Aiesha, that's just mean to call people empty headed thugs. I'm just telling them the truth. Captain wants to hurt Domirians and they're Alvadan. Ergo, I'm following his orders by not stabbing them."

She ignores the mercenary, (for she was not being paid for her opinion), and continued genteel discourse with the merchants.

: "Then you are our friend today lady! How are the roads?"

"I'm pretty sure it's filled with drugs and booze, not empty."

"Ethan, I am inclined to agree!"

: "I haven't had booze in days and it's wearing on me."

: "I may have taken a wee bit of Barry's vulnerary while he was sleeping though."

: "Then you are our friend today lady! How are the roads?"

: "Full of deserter highwaymen and other bandits, I'm afraid. There's quite a number trailing behind us."

: "Fairly well armed too, judging from how quickly they overtook the merchants we were tagging along with. I'm guessing they fall under the former."

Oh, for... l-look, we're not pirates, we're intending on fighting the highwaymen you mentioned, OK?"
