"Why would you ever want to forget this? My parents- This is exactly the sort of thing they spend all their time looking for! This is amazing!" Aiesha stared at the contraption, waiting for... Something.

"I've never tried any drugs or anything..."

Elanore closed her eyes, and took a couple of deep breaths.
: "Yes, its the exact same thing my parents wanted. They wanted it enough to force me into a life I never wanted, for all of... This."

: "To be truthful, I've dabbled. But this man's far beyond that. I'd wager he's high in the sky right now."

"Oh. Oh. I uh. Oh." Aiesha had the good grace to look ashamed of herself. Mostly because she was. "Sorry..."

[Solymr]

: Oh me mother...

Barry looked at the big incomprehensible contraption, and noticed Alister trying to get back. He intercepted him.

: Wait a minute, weird lad. Ye seem to know more than ye want to show. Ya better explain yer story.

[Ochita]

Elanore sighed, a frown on her face.
: "You had no way of knowing I felt like that, and its not as if I preached about my hate of the gods into the air or anything. It's not your fault."

[Blade Master Model 42]

"I guess, but, I didn't really mean to bring up bad memories for you. Even on accident. I'll just, you know, try not to do that again."

[Haspen]

"We keep it secret for a reason. Same reason for which we have three small continents instead of just one and why Pleiades are islands and not mountain chains anymore. Here, the recording is ready." Abbess pushed three more buttons.

Suddenly, beam of blue light shot from the Orb of Recording, and the light began to pool in one spot, forming into a form, then silhouette, then a being. The intensity of the light made the whole room seem blue.

"Denizens of planet Mu Arae b. I am the being you know as Demura, one of the Old Gods, and your friend. Heed this recorded message! This is my warning for you, which will most definitely be exposed to you under only one condition - that return of my colleagues, the 'Old Gods' you believed in, is imminent. They are not here to be worshipped again, though, but to try, for the second time, to fulfill the initial plans we had for your world."

"This Orb of Recording contains coding that can open my sleeping chamber in my hidden resting place. This message is too short to explain everything to you. I do not know if you have managed to master the skies and depths of the sea or maybe you're still using wind-propelled sails, but I implore you - reach the easternmost island of the archipelago you call Greater Pleiades, and then sail straight east, till you reach a long, thin island flanked by two tiny, rocky islands. On that long island, you will find a building, possibly ruined by now, and in its vast underground corridors, you shall find my resting place. Bring this Orb of Recording, set it into the hole on top of large, white box-shaped device. It will allow me to appear before you, and then I will have both time, and abilities, to explain everything. Good luck."

The being dissappeared into the thin air, the light subsided and return to the Orb. Abbess gently took it from the plate and handed it to Ethan.

"You allright, child?"

"I... I'm not sure."

"I felt the same when I first saw this." Abbess shook her head and pushed some buttons on the contraption box. The walls suddenly slid upon it and hid it behind layers of rock. The sounds of the machine couldn't be heard anymore.

"..."

"W-why do you take them, if it's bad for you? I-it can't be that fun, is it?"

At the ghost forming at it's speech, Lucrezia finally took notice of the strange device.

"!"

"I-is that his g-ghost? H-how is that not magic?"

[Blade Master Model 42]

"Well. That's not good." Aiesha shot a sidelong glance at Ethan. "We're headed for the Greater Pleiades, aren't we boss." It couldn't really be called a question- She knew they almost definitely were.

[Ochita]

: "Well, thanks..."
And then Elanore heard the recording. Turning to look at the Abbess, she nearly pleaded.
: "Please tell me you have enough booze of some kind to make me forget all of this."

Alister sighed. The native brutes seemed to understand neither of his languages. He resorted to his native tongue, unfiltered through the earpiece. He tried to compensate with egregious hand gestures.

: "I come from a place far away. I cannot get back there."

He pointed one hand to the ceiling and another to the ground.

: "I may have been followed. That would be a Bad Thing."

He pretended to slit his own throat.

: "Now we are here, and there is this thing, and it looks like a thing from My Place."

His hands flailed wildly, but he gave up at Barry's signature wide-eyed stare of confusion.

: "Do you understand?"

The strange archer was finally talking normally.

"E-excuse me? Mr Archer? A-are you saying you're o-one of the gods?"

: "Drugs aren't so bad. Kind of fun actually but... Huh."

Alicia listened to the rest of the recording in silence.

: "Yup. We're going sailing."
