Cetus shook his head.

"Even if she was sunburned, vulnerarys won't help that. They fix wounds specifically, they're not made to repair damage done just to the outside of the body, since they work by healing from the blood. If she is sunburned, I can help her."

Aiesha stopped and stood still for a moment, apparently thinking to herself. "Mmmmmhmmmm...."

"Not really certain, but I think it's gone now. Thanks Cetus. You're so useful!"

"Aw come off it. You're just saying that because I was being sad earlier. You don't need to compliment me for healing a little sunburn."

:"I say deal with it sweetie. Somebody stabs you, stab em back. Expect the same from him. You play out in the sun all day, expect a burn. That's just life. Only difference is you can't stab the sun. So you deal with it. I've gotten along fine without a priest for quite some time now."

She then turned back to Barry. Damn that man. He knew her too well.

: "Why you do this Barry? You know my weakness for the lemon goddess juice."
: "You keep this up, I'm not paying for drinks next time."

"Jo, I think we may have gotten involved with something important."
She 'whispered' to her friend.

The two women - the pirate and the thief, was it? - were arguing. They shouldn't do that. She summoned her courage and 'spoke' to the two.

"E-excuse me? You shouldn't fight. Y-you don't have to be friends, but you shouldn't needle each other."

Alicia turned slowly, irked at the intrusion.
: "What we say to one another ain't none of your-"

Then she saw it.

: "Wait. Is that a puppet?"

Barry leaned over to Cetus and whispered at his ear.

: *sssh I'm trying to calm her down or somethin' don't ya see? I don't wanna get spanked by nuns just 'cause Reddy can't keep her mouth shut*

And back to flaunting.

: Ah well, I figure if ya get yer kicks from pokin' the wee lass then ye don't need this, huh?

Meanwhile, Elanore had turned up, giving a small glare at the priest's back. Wondering why everyone was walking at such a hurried pace.
: "What's going on? What's with this sense of urgency?"

"That's stupid. If you get hurt, you should seek medical attention so you can continue to perform in peak condition."

This wasn't the best time for this but, what the hell, no time like the present. "Er, Alicia, vulnerary isn't for drinking by itself. It's supposed to be medicine. And, and don't freak out about this, I think it may, possibly, have... Addictive qualities. I asked the apothecary about it back in town and he dodged to question. So... Maybe you should lay off on the stuff? It's not like Cetus doesn't do a better job anyway."

[GiglameshDespair]

"...y-yes? I-I've been here a while though _{I think you ignored me...}."

Lucrezia trailed off under the weight of the pirate's glare.

Elanore realised that this was possibly the best time for this, considering that her axe wound wasn't really getting any more comfortable. Preparing to butt-in, she took a small intake of breath.
: "Speaking of medical attention, I could use some for this axe wound.. Considering that I'm not the sturdiest person around, it actually really damningly hurts."

"Ah! I'm sorry, here let me help you right now."

He couldn't believe he'd missed someone who was still injured and quickly concentrated and tapped her with his staff.

"There you go."

"See! Elanore has the right attitude!" Aiesha said, gesticulating toward the bleeding shamaness.

"Yeah, my subordinates are right! Why you don't just tell us?"

"I could, but it would take much more time than he does."

"Wait, 'he'?" Abbess took Ethan and his crew down a set of spiraling stairs and then they all entered a room full of papers. They were filled with ancient scrolls and tomes. She paid attention to none of these, and simply took the group across the room to a nook. There was a wall.

The abbess placed her hand on the wall and pushed part of it.

There was a loud click.

Suddenly, the wall began to slide away and exposing a big metal box of smooth surface and bleached cyan color.
There were bloops, beeps, clicking and constant humming coming out of it.
Numerous lights adorned the smooth surfaces, with a large glassy panel in the middle of it.
There were little knobs, domes, towers and rods sticking out of the strange machine, and few of the surfaces had numerous buttons and tiny levers.

It looked like something out of this world - and propably was.

"What. The. Heck." Abbess moved to the side of the machine and pulled out the orb from a box-like hidden nook of the contraption.

"Oh wow! It's amazing! What is it? What do these buttons do? Where'd it come from? What're the levers for?"
