: "Yes, you said that but...you didn't actually say anything about Duo Alvada. I know nothing about the climate or the people there."

Fer nodded and visibly thought for a bit.
:"Well, hmm. First thing I can say about it is that it's busy. There's ALWAYS someone going somewhere to do something, and au've learned to get used to crowds and strangers. The Church of the Old God does have a strong presence there, but the thing is no one can afford to try and start fights about it, for or against, unless they're crazy or just vicious because you never know who's gonna take offense and try to do something about it. Plus, people just don't have time sometimes. But I like it when I'm there, because I'm one of the people scurrying around but I know what I want to be doing and I have the chance to do it! I didn't stay there most of the time though even before I met the group, because I've been going out on ruin-studying ventures. And looking for the Armageddon tome, though I've had no luck."

[Sirus]

: "Sounds rather hectic, all those people running around. How do you know where to go or what to do?"

[Powder Miner]

:"Heh, well, I'm a man on a mission. I know what it is I aim to do, and I'm familiar enough with Duo Alvada to know where to go to do it -- I've simply learned the city rather well."

[Sirus]

: "Actually, I was wondering about the people there in general. The way you were talking it sounded like some of the people in Duo Alvada aren't as certain about things as you are."

[Powder Miner]

:"Well, there are a lot of people in Duo Alvada. Sometimes one just has to ask someone, ahah. The guards are particularly good for that, at least the smart ones."

[Sirus]

That made sense. She didn't envy the poor guards though.

: "This is probably a silly question, but...have you tried asking the guards if they know where this Armageddon tome is?"

[Powder Miner]

A little bit of a laugh escaped Fer's lips before he hurriedly slapped a hand over his mouth.
:"No-- No, I'm sorry, heh, it's just that I've spent a fair few years looking for this thing in a lot of obscure places around the world. I don't think even most of the smart ones know any of the high tier fire tomes at all."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"H-how f-far is it, B-Beryn?"

"Heh, I didn't think to look!"

"How about it? Wanna come aboard and see with me?"

Giving Lucrezia his best smile, he leaned over and held out his hand.

[GiglameshDespair]

Lucrezia looked rather dazzled at Beryn's smile, her typical blush already showing.
"..."

[SeriousConcentrate]

Beryn chuckled quietly and reared Prata around so the wyvern was kneeling next to Lucrezia. The hunter himself reached over and tapped the end of her nose.

"You are too damn adorable for your own good, darlin'."

He was still smiling, though; something about being around her made him quietly happy.

[GiglameshDespair]

"!"
Lucrezia jumped as her nose was booped.
Under this assault, she was incapable of defence.

"U-um, e-er, I-I..."

[SeriousConcentrate]

Beryn just grinned.

"All right, I'll lay off. But I do owe you a ride since the other one got cut short on account of bandits."

[Sirus]

Amberly found herself laughing as well, covering her veiled mouth with one hand.

: "I did say it was a silly question! I guessed you had already asked them, if they're good at finding things."

: "Hmm. Are you sure that this tome even exists? If even learned scholars are unaware of it..."

[GiglameshDespair]

"..."
"M-meanie!"

That said, though, she accepted his help on getting on the wyvern.

"..."
