Three humanoids encassed in metal stepped out of the nooks that now had floors that moved up from the underground shafts. The humanoids had tall lances they handled most strangely and their spherical eyes shone with bright light. They beeped and whistled at The Blackbones, seemingly trying to communicate. Such a marvel!

Unfortunately it was less than pleasant discovery because the humanoids began shooting fiery beams out of their lances a moment later!
