The commander on the other ship looked at the fight via spyglass.
"Dammit. I knew I shouldn't have agreed to this farce. Signal our retreat!" One of the commander's men waved a red flag about. Then Marthon approached the railings.
"You! Ethan Valle, or what's your name!" "...yeah?" "Tell your people to leave my ship and I will... forget this whole incident. Plus take Carmen and her soldiers into custody." Just as he spoke that, Taber and Hakim prepared to show their disagreement by force, but the Domirian soldiers, for once quick thinkers, seized them. Ethan looked at his crew, mostly wounded, at the two ships, at the hole where Carmen was, and let out a sigh.
"Allright. We can do that. I will be generous today. Until you decide to cross me again, that's it." His few last words had a bit of boastful tone in them. Ethan then turned to Baurus and Cetus.
"Guys, help our people back onto Blackbones and tell the ladies to stop the murdering. We're leaving." Meanwhile, Marthon rubbed his hands into his face, possibly going through small breakdown or pride failure or something equally taxing.
