"Oh damn, she even got a ballista caravel for support. This will be way harder than previous one!"

He tucked the spyglass behind his belt and ran to the railings behind the steering wheel to address the people on deck:

"Hey, guys, prepare for combat! Black-haired fencer girl is back and with lots more friends than previously and ship-mounted ballistae for support!" Then he reached for the steering wheel and pulled on a short lever, locking the wheel and the steer under the ship in straight position for the combat. "You too, Aiesha, put Alicia's rapier to a good use."

"A transport vessel at the port, a ballista caravel on the starboard. Prepare accordingly!"

Ughhh, the tone and attachments aren't right. How did Luc even make Rose so...durable!?

Looking at the two ships on course for collision, Jesseo did note a simple idea.

"Do we need someone at the tiller? We can easily drop sails and await them here--or, at least move out of the path of a ballista. One of those bolts is enough to break through the deck, as far as I know. That, and I'm impressed on the bounty you've got, Captain! I remember her just as well as Cetus."

Uh. Move all the way SW! at least 2 radius distance from Lucrezia, in any tile..there!

"Though...we're very much in range for a naval ballista. Why aren't they shooting yet?"

Ethan moved onto lower deck.

Then...

The two ships rapidly approached the Blackbones; the transport vessel went side by side and the corvi were slammed down at the railings, providing bridging between the two vessels!

"Now I can finish the job! Move out, Domirian grunts!"

"Yer not our commander, hired blade! Watch yer tongue!"

"But I'm paying your commander a large sum and you get a percentage, so stuff it!" The Domirian sailors grumbled but prepared for combat, under Carmen's leadership.

Meanwhile...

"Hrmm, I hope Carmen's money is worth it. I didn't sign for this for mere thrill-seeking..."

"Orders, sir?"

"Provide ballista support! I wish I could be on the front lines, but the woman had 'better' ideas. We will see how her plan goes. Load!" The ballista operators began preparing their first salvo of doom bolts.

~~Player Turn 2~~

"Did I just hear strife amongst them? Listen people, try to knock down that crazy woman. Or that commander of the ballista caravel. Hopefully losing an important piece in their midst will send them running! Or, sailing away."

Objectives:
KO either boss (Carmen or Marthon).
Tip: Carmen's lieutenants count as elite mooks and thus give 5 exp per hit and 10 per kill.

Carmen's words were like a clear tone on a sunny day near the sea. It was very clear.

"Captain, with all due respect, a third option of beating off their forces would also add to the rancor between the two. As a mercenary, I would note that this fact is very credible. That, and the ballistae are aimed right at us."
