[Blade Master Model 42]

The girl flinched. Oh gods, were they all going to call her that? Or worse, treat her like that? "Just Aiesha, if you don't mind. And yeah, ask anything you like."

[Sirus]

: "I'm sorry, miss...I was just wondering if you perhaps had some spare room on the deck? I...would like to set up a small shrine for the voyage."

[Blade Master Model 42]

"Uh... Hm..." Aiesha gave the question careful consideration. Obviously the Blackbones was a sizable ship. Truthfully, the five of them had been a skeleton crew for her. And there was certainly room that didn't need to be used as a walkway... "Alright. I'll help you find a spot that isn't in the way. Shouldn't be too hard to find something to suit a small shrine. How much space are we talking anyway?" Aiesha was looking up into the sky, visualizing the layout of the deck in her mind.

[Sirus]

: "V-very small! O-obviously nothing like the size of a permanent shrine, but it should not be much bigger than, say, a gravestone. And I don't care where it is, in fact the more out-of-the-way the better."

[Blade Master Model 42]

"Well, I mostly want it out of the way so it doesn't get tripped over or anything. I'm guessing you've never been sailing before, so I think you ought to know that a ship's deck is a pretty busy place. And with a dozen of us, it's only going to be that much more busy. Best we find you somewhere you don't get stepped on in the middle of a prayer." Beyond the rooftops in the distance, Aiesha saw a familiar set of sails. "Okay, we're almost there, good."

[Sirus]

: "Okay. Thank you, Aiesha. I wouldn't impose if I didn't feel it was important..."

[Blade Master Model 42]

"Hey, don't worry about it. So long as everyone- well, most everyone- is happy on board the Blackbones, that makes me happy. Fighting's a bunch of junk, and I'd sooner not do it any more than I have to, you know?"

[Sirus]

Amberly thought about all the fighting that had taken place today. And the fighting that was sure to come.

: "Yes, I agree. I will do my best to ensure that there's no fighting on your ship. Thank you again."

[Blade Master Model 42]

"It's probably not avoidable." Aiesha said, her shoulders slumping. "It seems like Alicia's attitude with me and Cetus has been getting worse since Ethan named me first mate, and the way she was talking when we were going through that pass- Killing people and banditry okay? Makes my stomach turn. Hell, she only really seems friendly with Barry anymore, and I think that's more because they get pants-pissing drunk together." Aiesha sighed heavily again. She wasn't good at keeping the peace, and it bothered her.

She shook her head. "Sorry, you don't want me dumping all this on you. I'm sure you have your own problems, being out in the world for the first time and all that."

[Sirus]

More problems than I expected, that's for sure. Out loud, she responded:

: "No, it's fine. I won't say anything about it."

[Blade Master Model 42]

"Thanks. I'd rather put off any confrontation with her as long as I can, so no good to swatting the wasp's nest. Oh, and if you see her with any vulnerary, find me or Ethan straightaway. I'm sure you remember her restrictions."

[Sirus]

The nun blinked.

: "...what restrictions? What's wrong with vulnerary?"

[Blade Master Model 42]

Aiesha stared blankly at the other girl. "Wow. I cannot believe you missed it. Okay, let me sum up. Alicia has developed an addiction to the anesthetic effects of vulnerary. And also the taste. I think she might have gotten a batch with something else in it or something, because I've never seen it before, but she's under orders from the captain not to have any. I swiped what she had on her for her own good, but I can't watch her all the time. So, if you see her with any vulnerary, or or trying to get at someone else's, you let me or Ethan know. She needs help."

"So yeah, no vulnerary for any reason. We have three healers on the crew now, so even if she winds up hurting herself for an excuse, we should have someone ready to patch her up no problem."

[SeriousConcentrate]

Alicia smiled broadly.

: "Sweetie, I'd take a stud like you sailing any day of the week."

: "But unfortunately I don't mix business with pleasure. That's just asking for trouble. You're gonna have to get your fancy free in other ways pumpkin."

"Well, that's a damn shame. I know when a no is a no, though... _{should've asked BEFORE I joined the crew...}"

"Eh, anyway. I think I'm good to walk on my own. I'm gonna make my way to the ship and see if I can figure it out."

Beryn disengaged from Baurus, stretched, and took a few tentative steps.

"Man, sea air does a body good! It's a lot thicker than mountain air, that's for damn sure. Each breath down here feels like it's worth about ten up where I come from."

Satisfied he was going to be fine, the hunter laced his hands behind his head.

"Barry, maybe you should take her drinking too. It's no fair to go and not invite a lady along, right?"

With that, he strolled off in the direction of the pier. He was certain he'd come across other members of the crew on his way there.

[Sirus]

Oh, was that what all the yelling about earlier? Amberly had been so focused on trying to keep her head down that she hadn't been paying attention.

: "I...I see. I will make sure to keep my supply safely in my bag." Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the wyvern's master approaching.
