"Ah, wait, you don't... ah, I, uhm..."

The priest felt like his face was on fire as he blushed brightly in response to the girl's question. While he'd believed her to be sheltered, he hadn't realized that she was quite *that* sheltered.

"Well... uhm... it's when two people... who are attracted to each other... I mean, or just want to have fun I guess... And it doesn't have to be a man and a woman, it can be two guys or two girls... Or more than two... I... Ok, you wanted to know what Stheno meant, so... between you and Beryn, so a guy and a girl, so... Right. I... Come here."

He leaned over and whispered a quick explanation, trying to not get any more embarrassed than he already was.

Fer put his hands to his temples.
:"This really needs to be sorted out... sooner rather than later..."

"AH... uhm, no. It... wasn't allowed when I was studying to be a priest and then... no."

After Amberly had safely gotten out of sight of the two mages, she broke into a run. She didn't know where she was going, and to be honest she didn't care. She just had to get away from these people, even if only for a moment!

The Old Gods were, perhaps, not on her side. She ran headlong into Aiesha outside a store selling some variety of weapons and fell over backwards.

: "!! I'm---I'm sorry!"

Not being a large girl, Aiesha was very nearly knocked over when Amberly cannonballed into her. After steadying herself, she turned to the nun and offered her a hand up. "You should be a bit more careful than that, y'know? You alright, no scrapes or anything?"

T-that's a relief. I w-was worried when I-I held B-Beryn's h-hand it'd m-make me pregnant o-or something..."

"Ah... yeah, no... No hand holding is fine. Perfectly safe. Don't worry."

At this point Cetus was starting to become less embarrassed and just felt sorry for the poor girl. Not only was she so shy, she apparently had never had some very important things explained to her. There was some of that he could understand but to think that holding hands could make you pregnant...

: "No, I'm...I'm fine." Since she was carefully avoiding Aiesha's eyes, she missed the hand entirely and got up on her own. "Please forgive me. I was just...looking for...the boat. Yes, I got lost and...panicked and..." She just started rambling on.

Aiesha raised an eyebrow at the obvious lying. It seemed pretty clear that the poor girl had no experience with it. "Well, I'm just about done here. I can lead you back to the Blackbones." Aiesha held out the bowgun to Amberly. "Would you mind holding this? My bags are kinda packed."

[Sirus]

: "Yes...I mean no, I don't mind." She struggled under the weight of the bizarre contraption but managed to keep pace with the other girl.

Aiesha considered what might have caused the girl to go sprinting off from somewhere, but what wouldn't have her screaming for help. Ah, that could be it. "So, any luck getting closer to other members of the crew? I know we haven't exactly talked much."

[Sirus]

The nun winced behind her veil.

: "N-no. I don't speak to them much, and I'm not sure that..." She snapped her jaw shut, suddenly aware of how close she was coming to badmouting the members of Aiesha's crew and that the other woman might choose to take offense.

Aiesha waited for the other girl to say something, but gave up when conversation didn't seem to be forthcoming. "Well, we're all gonna be working together for a while, so I suggest you make some friends. And try to avoid making enemies as best you can." Aiesha sighed. "I'm glad that there's gonna be a few more people between me and Alicia, honestly. I thought I knew her better than it seems."

[Sirus]

The nun nodded, not really believing that she would even be lucky enough to avoid making further enemies. A friend was a distant pipe dream, it seemed.

: "Um...madam First Mate? Can I ask you something about your ship?"
