"Prata will be fine gliding along above your boat. He'll only land when he needs to sleep; I've got him well trained."

"Uh, sure then, welcome aboard... that reminds me, where's that merchant of yours? I wanted to ask him, nicely, for a reward for saving his life. Isn't he your employer or somethin'"

"I was only along with him because he promised this route would be dangerous!"

"This is the first fight we found. Anyway, I'll ferry you over to him. Here."

Beryn leaned over and held a hand out to help Ethan get aboard Prata.

[Haspen]

"I feel bad already with earth under my feet and lacking that would be even worse. No thanks." Ethan thought for a moment.

"Hey, Aiesha! You don't have fear of heights, do you?"

Alicia rolled her eyes.

: "Oh come off it captain. It can't be so bad riding a wyvern. You don't see those things everyday. It might be fun!"

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Hey, now. I'm not going to drop ya. But if she wants a ride, well, let's say I'd rather be holding a woman steady up here. No offense, cap'n."

"Not as such captain,  no." Aiesha looked at Beryn. "And if you do anything untoward I'll make you regret it.

Lucrezia looked at the wyvern, eyes wide. It was huge. She stepped forward and patted it on the snout, ready to draw her hand back if it tried to eat her. It was so cute. Fortunately, the rider was busy talking to the Captain.

"Oh, you're Aiesha? Huh. I thought he was talking to Red here. Eh, oh well. Come on up then, if you're coming."

He looked at Aiesha and shrugged, still holding his hand out to help up. As for Prata, he didn't react at all to the patting. His breathing was gentle and measured against Lucrezia's hand, but otherwise he might as well have been a statue.

Rushing over, Cetus stopped by Alicia.

"Here, hold on a second..."

He channeled the magic energy and nodded as her wounds sealed up.

"There you go! Now, anyone else need healing?"

Hearing that reminded Lucrezia of her injuries. Ow. Ow! She raised a hand (and Lady Rose).

"..."

"If... if's not too much b-bother... _{yes please.}"

"Ah, yes, of course, my apologies."

Heading over to her, he smiled and then concentrated.

"And... that should do it!"

As he finished healing her, he spotted Amberly appeared to be in some pain too. Walking over to her, he quickly healed her injuries before quietly adding,

"Look... I... Regardless of what happened to me, you apparently still hold the Old Gods in high esteem and don't have the same issues that I do. So... I'm sorry for being rude. No matter what I believe, I could have said it better."

Aiesha took Beryn's offered hand and climbed onto the wyvern's back. "Okay, now take us on over, nice and easy. I've never flown before."

[SeriousConcentrate]

Beryn helped Aiesha sit in front of him and wrapped his left arm around her waist, tangling the reins in his right hand for extra control.

"No need to worry about falling. I've got Prata well trained, and I've never dropped anyone before. You can ask Stheno, I carried her across these mountains just a while ago."

Prata took a few steps away from Lucrezia, spread his wings, and soared into the air with a powerful starting leap. Beryn directed him westward with a tug on his reins.

"We'll be there in just a moment. So, what's your deal? Ethan's girlfriend or right-hand woman or something?"

"I'm first mate on the Blackbones. That's all." This hadn't been the first time someone had assumed there was something romantic between Aiesha and Ethan. Or Aiesha and Cetus, though that was rarer. But she always shut down that train of thought pretty quickly.
