When it's done, you don't give him time to beg. You stamp down on his throat. His gurgles are low and watery. You're one step from leaving when a woman with meth teeth walks in, putting a diamond ring on the counter.
"Hey, how much you give for 'his?" she asks. You wipe the blood off your heels by rubbing it against the floor and hope that she doesn't see the body. Luckily, the only lights are the ones in front of the door and the neon sign that says "TOOLEY'S PAWN SHOP" in big ugly letters.
You aren't a shopkeeper. This is bad. You don't want to mess this up. You pray you aren't sweating. Can you sweat? Who are you?

I've been meaning to do something like this for a while. Most likely going to be short and badly planned. Based off a recent devlog by Toady, but in a different context. Be sure to provide name, gender, and what kind of creature you are. Don't worry about being obviously inhuman if you can come up with a good reason why you wouldn't freak people out.
