That would explain multiple sightings of him on many planets in same time.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

I'm now introducing the nickname for that - Corn.

It's because Kugelblob kinda sounds like Kugel Kob, which brings to mind corn cobs. Therefore whatever this thing is is now corn.

I should say, I like Piecewise's GMing approach to Mad Science. Instead of simply ruling out something defying regular laws of physics (as any mundane science-savvy person would), he allows the player to (unknowingly) summon an eldritch entity capable of bending those.

That's one beautiful case of good old "You Can, But... instead of You Cannot."; I'm going to keep it in mind when I get to Gm in an appropriate setting.

I kinda wanna feed him to his own creation though. PW hasn't run any other Hep action because of it!

He's lucky the others are so braindead we need the personnel.

Then again, since PW hasn't run any other Hep action, the need of extra personnel was lessened, and amount of Heph actions I skipped by going on a mission severely decreased. All in all, a nice vacation for current Heph personnel, I think!  :P

I believe you'll find that the eventual (potential) benefits make this delay worthwhile. ;) Even if it could have been, in retrospect, avoided. But it wouldn't have been nearly as fun. :P

Yeah, you just found a weapon that could potentially destroy the universe each time it's used and that even when killed it might not die but merely be reborn in a different form. What could possibly go wrong?

That is probably the most terrifying thing in the world. A reality virus, destruction on a massive scale that can accidentally occur anywhere in the cosmos, ignoring the laws of physics we understand and take for granted. Something that renders everything humanity has done as a species useless and purposeless. Nihilism personified in an eldritch god of unfathomable simplicity. An almost inevitable end to everything

On the bright side, at least we might get some shiny artifacts out of it.

The correct question is figuring out how we can weaponize it.

The correct question is "how do we make it into a weapon that won't shoot us in the foot every time".

Though honestly I could care less about indiscriminate and barely-controllable weapons of mass destruction. Power is nothing without control. I'd much rather spend time finding out what happened and what else it can do for us. ^_^

The Heptagonal spike seems to be able to absorb an endless amount of thermal and electrical energy. We can't figure out how to get it back out though.
I think we just solved the matter of PEW heatsinks.

I wonder if the dense crystal could be used as armor. Maybe a lighter version of the hex bug stuff?
