Also, since I don't expect Scandinavia or Arluen to do much, Spain can already post its turn. Compared to the map, you gain on army on your capital.

France would also like to offer a trade treaty to Scandinavia. Maybe the extra one army would make the Scandinavian less useless.

Oi Sheb, do you follow the order list point by point or have a hard order of things, like 'army movement -> combat -> improvements built'?

Bombardment -> Movement and Combat -> Build

Also, it seems like the RNG don't want Spain to have a navy.

If that battle in the Atlantic had gone differently, I wouldn't have woken up to a fractured mess this morning. Christ. Oh well, hopefully the eastern juggernaut will arrive quickly, as everyone else seems intent on stamping on the Spanish.

Well, with his new communication tech, Haspen defend at +5 on provinces with HQs... So you're the only rebel that I can reasonably hope to stomp.

I'm currently trying to contemplate a way to acquire 7 academies this turn.

Why? You'd still need two turns to complete your research. Catalonia and Sweden can be two. If you take Paris, you need to get really lucky with the surrender rolls to get all enough academies.

If I calculate treaties correctly, 7 is sufficient.

But yeah, it's nearly impossible. It requires for France not only to give me all it's gains in Spain, but also it's islands and a parts of Africa.

On a side note, did France use it's fleets?

Yup. Two to land in Tunis, one for the failed attack on Galicia.

And actually, you're right. All other things being equal, 7 more academies would give you 68 RP by the end of the turn.

On a side note, If I were to build a fleet in 10, where can I deploy it. I assume that I have to choose between the Baltic, Bothnia and the Skaagerak, or the Baltic, the Skaagerak and the North Sea. Right?

Edit: Oh, and can fleets that were scared out of port by enemy forces move on the same turn?

No, a fleet in 10 can be moved to all 4 neighbouring sea provinces. And yeah, fleet scared out of their port can still move or carry troops.

Very interesting. For some reason I believed this not to be the case. Well, if it contradicts something you said earlier, I'm sure someone else will remember.

On a side note, for that province swap, are those additional units I would recieve this turn? If yes, that seems very exploitable* and makes me wonder why I wouldn't get an additional unit from recieving 67.

* Get extra terrain from the hinterland of an ally, use new forces to repeat old forces you throw in the grinder, give terrain back without ever going over the cap.
