Yes, it is indeed a very exploitable possibility, one that I've known about for a long time and will frown on anyone actively using*, this case being different as it's freshly conquered provinces.

And catalonia wouldn't grant you extra armies since France wasn't thinking of granting them to you until after your turn, as a carrot for not simply backstabbing me.

*Technically, you could swap a province back and forth to sustain 2 or even 3 armies out of it, since army loss from gong over the cap happens at the start of your turn.


Actually, screw that, it would be too annoying to draw a line, from now on, gifted province only raise the army cap for the month after they're given. Still exploitable, but less so.

In the light of that change, France is willing to give Catalonia and Portugal to Albion, on the understanding that Albion will hand over all antebellum French province once the war in this theater is over. Also, Albion will transfer portugese provinces should France get below 14 provinces (As that would cause army capacity loss in our Scandinavians and Arluenese allies) The transfer will happen after your move.

On a side note, I noticed a peculiarity about the turn order. Since RP and such is a strictly end of turn matter, those later in the turn list are slightly advantaged. After all, the chance that they'll loose a province before the end of turn is non-existant, thus they'll always get their RP from it.

Then again, first player also gets some nice benefits.
