I always think it's interesting to view the decription of a random dwarf and wonder how he/she actually looks, like "incredibly skinny", "long sideburns", "clean-shaven head", "brown skin", "round brass eyes"....

I wonder how hard can it be to develop something like this.

It sounds like a fun project, however my programming skills are not at that level. It seems like it would be easy enough to create a sort of "dress-up-doll" program that takes the character definitions as variables and creates portraits. It would undoubtedly take a good amount of work, especially in the art department. I've seen programs like that before so I'm sure it can be done.
