Of note, just because you lost a match doesnt mean you cant win the tournament.  You dont drop out until you lose twice.  There is an L-bracket with your opponent if you lost the first round.

The second game was pretty close for most of it, but objective ran out of time after which he started to lose pieces (and then got checkmated).
